Thanks, @Marcothecarguy1986 ! Gorgeous vehicle. That exterior color with a light interior?! Yes, please.
Interior is fantastic, with only one shortfall..... Why, oh why, did they opt to put the transfer case selector and gear knobs on the center console?! Seriously, these are not dials used all the time. Space-wise, they would have been much better served getting those out of the way near the instrument cluster and freeing up that massive console for more useful things.
Otherwise, they knocked it out of the park.

I'm digging the new Expedition, and I say that as someone who thought the previous model was very awkward looking. They really took the best of the styling cues from the GM SUVs and then made it look like a Ford. Just wish my price range went up that high!
Sure, its miley, but that third pedal has to be quite rare.
Not all that rare; when I was looking at R/T and SRT Challengers I'd guess that 30-40 percent were manuals.
really? I just did a nationwide search and although it told me 27 came up, when I clicked on many of them, they still had an auto. Did find a few, but still pricey.
Ah, just checked again. I had it limited to $20k. Tells me 400 if no price restriction, but I don't have time to click through them all. I really doubt its anywhere near 30% though. Isn't the breakdown something like 5% of all new cars. I'm sure they don't buck the trend that significantly.
I did an Autotrader search of used V8 Challengers within 300 miles of my home; 1144 total, 399 manuals- about 35%. Even if 50 of them are actually automatics that would still be 30%.

I was having far less luck with them actually being manuals. Far too many dealers seem to be of the opinion that an auto with a +\- gate is somehow a manual trans.
In any case, there are more than I would have thought.

I'm impressed with Hyundai's restraint in their current styling. It seems they hit the market hard with the somewhat overstylized Sonata several years ago to get attention, and then backed off and gave it a little more classic look with the latest iteration (the one @stickguy has).
Similarly, this new Elantra GT has very clean lines - particularly compared to something like the Civic hatch. Sort of a mix between the Mazda3 and Golf.
200hp and a 6-speed manual - I give them credit for offering it.
We keep seeing 2005 and 2005.5 S4s, in that mileage range, and around that price point. Maybe, as a replacement for my son's '95 M3. A little scary, though. And, 14 mpg city.
We do have a great independent VW/Audi shop in town, though.
Oh my. I love that Hatch. Added to the list to look at! And even could be budget friendly if I am re-upping on a new Hyundai lease at the end of the year.
One thing I can already tell (based on the sedan sport model) is that the tires are too damned skinny. I think they were 40 series, and not nearly wide enough to pull that off.
Hard to believe, but a Chevy commercial was on again, and it made me wonder if a feature like this would be ideal in a CCBA garage? Store 'em all safely underground until you pull one up to drive today

Not if you live in Florida - you'd hit water before the second "shelf" was underground.
OK guys, talk me out of of this one. I'm feeling itchy.
Why would I talk you out of that? Looks beautiful and a ZHP convertible is likely pretty rare. Low miles too.
Be ready to do the cooling system (pump, expansion tank etc.) when you get it if it has not been done already and other than that, enjoy it!
How are you, your wife and precious son doing? I was older (42) when we had our daughter. I've never been the same..in a wonderful way and she is a daddy's girl.

Mom and baby are doing great! He lost a little too much weight in the first couple days, but that has since done a complete 180 and he is growing ahead of the curve (well as much as there is a curve at 2 weeks...). My wife is nearly completely recovered from her C-Section and is staying home with him for a full 3 months. Unfortunately I had to go back to work this week.
Feels a bit weird to say that I'm a Dad, but I'm loving every second of it so far - even the middle of the night diaper explosions.
Thanks for asking!

That seems really nice. Not a fan of the black interior which should never be in a convertible but if the car is nice enough otherwise I suppose you could live with it.

Are you brave enough?
Should be more reliable than an Audi.
Quicker than an '05-'10 GT
I do like the red leather, though.

FYI, the priciest ones at auction are under $5k, but with 80k miles. I think $9k would be the moon for this one in a private party sale.
