Well, I suppose that could be a shorter list, but I suspect you are excluding

    Luxury SUVs
    Trucks of all sizes
Anything with two doors (you've still got three kids, last I remember)

Kind of leaves sedans or non-luxury SUVs.

Are the QX60 SUVs still leasing really well?  If they had captains chairs in the middle row there would be one in my driveway right now.

I had a QX60 as a loaner car and wasn't thrilled with it.

There just seem to be some sick deals right now on MDXs & Highlanders. The Pilot's continued popularity continues to impress me (as evidence by the high money factor). Jeep Grand Cherokees, Infiniti Q50s both seem to always have money factors close to zero and massive discounts off sticker price.

I don’t know why anyone would lease a Pilot right now.   The payments I’ve seen in the thread are nuts!

I’ve only sat in the QX, I’ve never driven one

Highlander is definitely nice as well, a friend of mine has had several and all have been excellent.

Some people are just "serial leassors" and just see the low payment. My biggest problem with the Highlander is that it isn't as big as our Pilot. With the 2nd row slid all the way back, there is literally ZERO inches of leg room between the 2nd & 3rd row. With 3 kids (good memory @Michaell) and 2 that play travel hockey, we are constantly re configuring the Pilot's 2nd & 3rd row.

I don't pay much attention to Jeep's product line but I saw ads for the new Compass and it looks like an actual SUV now and not the turtle-back design they used to have. I dunno if the platform has changed but should learn more about it.

The room is the primary reason we went with another Enclave.  It is really large inside, on Thanksgiving I had my wife, my two kids in car seats and another adult and 15 year old.  I also had two strollers and gear... everyone was comfortable.  I just slide the middle row up a notch or two and the leg room in the rear is acceptable.  Even all the way back there is a plenty of room for a short trip.

Biggest gripe I have (it’s a small one) is that you can’t fold the third row down if the middle row is all the way back, the headrests hit the back of the middle row.  I have to slide the middle up, put the third row down and then slide them back.  It still only takes less than a minute, but would be nicer to just be able to fold the middle without the extra step

2 neighbors have highlanders. Look nice. But last time I drove one it was way too bulky and trucky. Plus we really don't need that big. Same with the MDX but my wife would love one of those! So best to not ask about payments.

speaking of leases, next summer, I am going to work hard to find a deal that makes sense on a lease to buy, instead of going with the big payment/lots of years options. With some of the lease cash floating around it can make sense. The Volvo would have made sense when they were leasing cheap based on lease cash. a $40K sticker, with 50% residual, and payments in the low $300s, is the type of deal that makes sense.

To rub it in, my BIL and SIL arrived for Turkey day in a newer S60 Inscription, with the brown interior (a loaner since his Jaguar was in for service and not done in time). Really nice car. One of those or a TLX sounds like a nice upgrade!

Drove a Infiniti Q70 the other day and the power was intoxicating to be honest, a real rush when I floored the accelerator. Was in heaven to be honest. Drove another Volvo S90 yesterday and starting to really like them. Does take a few minutes to set the radio and a/c correctly as it's not intuitive but fun to drive.
The new Accords is a winner at least inside. Have yet to drive one but will soon I hope. Too big for me but hopefully the Civic will get some of it's improvements down the line as I could see another one in my future. But still lusting over a 328i, just love 'email even though they are a tad too big but might have to just live with that one day.
No word on my mirror but will call Monday or Tuesday. Getting kids bathtub as I type and having a carpet guy in Tuesday to fix some carpet ripple issue in the living room. Since we're staying put for the time being, need to fix a few things like painting the kitchen/family room. That pink has to go and liking a nice gray tint we both like. Will also need a handyman for a few issues the wife needs tackled. Since we're past 30 years of being here, time to get these small things taken care of before I retire again.

Today I visited my friend who impulse-bought a green MKZ a few months ago. No real issues with the car, but a couple quirks - parking sensor beeps work when they want, and apparently the ICE lighting doesn't change from day to night mode. Nice to have a warranty.

Intoxicating is the best way to describe my Infiniti's power and acceleration.  It's absolutely my favorite thing about my Q40.  It can't touch my old BMW's athletic chassis.  The brakes are great, but not BMW phenomenal.  All around it is a wonderful daily driver with gobs of power.  I love it!

Mine was good, it was just my parents and I this year. We continued our tradition of the non-traditional Thanksgiving and had a pasta dish with beef and Italian sausage.

Crazy busy here!  Spent the morning at the Philly Thanksgiving day parade (with Work, we are a sponsor) then came home to finish cooking ... ate for what seems hours over several courses while chasing all the kids around!  Great times!

Every year my town throws a Town Dinner. Local restaurants supply much of the food and the cooks (and we know how to cook up here!). They set up long tables in the Vets' Hall, hire a really good DJ, and everyone just mingles in a huge buffet. All free, too, which is amazing. It's not for the "needy" particularly--everybody comes to chat with friends and especially strangers. I think this T-Day was particularly "juiced" because our town was saved from destruction in the recent wildfires. It took some 1800 firefighters to do it though. That's an army!

Further North, sadder news with some casualties, many homes burned, and lots of classic cars destroyed, too. Whole collections in some cases.

Just the two of us this year. The pharmacist daughter had to work and the older girl ate with her fiance's family and ended up, as usual, at her best friends house around the corner from us. She called and wanted to stop in around nine but I was about to get into bed as I had to work Friday. Turned out to be an eleven hour day also so glad I got some sleep the night before.
Really unhappy to be out of warranty to be honest, just hoping things don't go south any time soon. Since I'm always looking, might just jump if I find something truly remarkable. Looking back, that brown over brown 2015 328i I saw a few months back was just about perfect, just the timing was a bit off. Sure I'll find something perfect once I run into it and I'll know and will jump on it.

we host both sides for Thanksgiving. Including us, sat 15 this year. In the past before kids grew up (and a couple of divorces!), we had as many as 25 eating. That was a real house full.

After spending much of the long weekend with family and decorating the house, I had a nice chunk of time this morning to tidy up the garage and clean some cars. There's something very therapeutic about it for me.

Anyway, spent some time on the Polestar - wash, clay and polish.

Looks great @breld.  I had time to give the Infiniti a nice hand wash.  Didn't have time to do a full detail like I wanted.  I had to put up a new hand rail in the garage.

I need to get the 2 cars still home cleaned up. Both spent some time outside over the holiday and could use it. Today was the first day without any guests, and was not happening. Thankfully we have a warm stretch on tap this week, so I will get outside during the day and take care of it. Need to decide if worth waxing the RDX again (I think I did it in August). Will decide based on the beading! Elantra just needs a quick rinse off.
