Thought I'd share some other cars I have saved to my favorites list. Does anybody else keep their saved lists current even if not in a place to buy anything?
Oh yeah. I’ve got 12 cars on my Cargurus saved list. Not that I’m shopping or anything...

I'm still a bit tempted by a RWD Giulia Ti. Not all that quick(about as fast as a 330e) but it sounds like fun...
I’m in complete lust with the Giulia. Looks beautiful, plenty quick with the 4cyl and is supposed to handle like the 3 series of yore. Pricing is not ridiculous either unless you opt for the Quadrifoglio.
But, I would definitely give it another year. In some of the early tests there were issues that cropped up. Most were electronic and computer related and some were the dreaded kind that could not be repeated. I think the issues TTAC (?) even baffled Alfa.

Same. C&D 10 Best article makes it sound like the 2nd coming.
The Brits like it pretty well too. I'd definitely lease it; if I could get a ti with the Performance Package, H-K, and Nav on a 36 month sign and drive for under $500/month I'd jump.

I have a one day trip to the Bay Area planned for next month. I'm choosing not to rent a car as the time needed to pick up and drop off will cut into my schedule.
I've set up both Uber and Lyft on my work phone. I've gotten feedback that Lyft is more, um, 'socially responsible'.
But, wanted to get first hand feedback from actual users. Is there really a difference?
Ha, I just priced that same configuration. $500 should definitely be feasible. Only about a $40k cap cost after discounts and incentives.
EDIT: ok, maybe not. Used the calculator on Alfa's site and it comes up with $550 at 36mo/15k, not including tax and tags. Yikes. Must have an AWFUL residual.

My experience is better with Uber (in L.A.). Lyft (in S. Fla.) ripped me off. I know that the estimated fee can differ from the final, but a two-fold difference is ridiculous.

So, here's my summary of the 2017 Lincoln MKT that I had as a rental:
The Bad:
Not very easy on the eyes
Driver's seat didn't go back far enough, which is odd because this usually crops up in foreign (Japanese and Korean) vehicles in my experience
The Center console and driver's door armrest were far apart, which didn't allow a natural spot for me to rest my arms
The knob-less volume is a really poor design (my Edge is all touch, except for the volume knob). You have to swipe left and right to increase or decrease volume.
The Good:
The Ecoboost V6 is very quick!!
Ford seems to have fine tuned the transmission, when compared to my Edge
Very comfortable seats
Quiet cabin
Nicely appointed interior
Sync3 is a significant improvement over the MyFordTouch that I have in my Edge
I used to write Lincoln off as nothing but a rebadged Ford, and not worth the time. While, this statement seems to be true in general, they seem to be a bit quieter than their Ford counterparts. Now, I would not buy one new, but if you can pick up a used Lincoln for roughly the same price as the Ford equivalent, it might be worth it.
It is interesting how I had two older colleagues (60+) comment "Wow, nice Lincoln!" The brand still resonates with the Baby Boomer generation it seems, but it is all but lost on most others. Lincoln just hasn't been competitive the past 10-15 years, but it seems like they're starting to turn that around with their newer models. I like the new front fascia on the crossovers. A used 2019 MKC with the 2.3L Ecoboost could be a great used buy a year or two down the road (the Lincoln version of the Escape).

Wouldn’t kick it our of my garage for misfiring, but can’t really wrap my head around that color. I don’t know what these things are worth. Is $40K a decent price for an Aston?
Not really. $35k-$36k would be about right.
I like the color. I had a mazda 626 that was kind of similar, but lighter. They called it Meadow Green. It was quite pretty. One of those colors that looked lighter or darker depending on how cloudy/sunny it was. Actually got a strong trade-in value on that one because, according to the UCM, "I've never seen that color. That is REALLY nice!"
That is an interesting color. Those were pretty bland cars, though. My former law partner's wife had at least three of them that I know of. I think one or two were leased. The last two in a row were the exact same color and equipment as each other.
Othe than my $225/month, only money I put in was a set of wiper blades.
I bought the Tahoe in June or July, immediately replaced the wiper blades, and replaced them a second time today. I can't stand it when they start to chatter, even if it's cold out. The first ones were Bosch, the ones I just put on are "Aero" brand, we'll see whether they last longer.
Lyft. Uber is a terrible company - if my company didn't have a business account with them, I would never use it.
Uber tried to bribe hackers to cover up a massive data breach and failed to notify its users until the bribery scheme was uncovered. Agree, they're an awful company. So far as we know, Lyft did not do this. I deleted my Uber account and app.

Actually, in typical Mazda fashion, they outhandled their competitors. Power output was pretty good at the time with the v6 until Nissan trumped it with the 222hp Maxima. PLUS, you could get a v6 manual sedan in all trim levels.

Bought mine in September 2013 so definitely out of warranty now. Funny, my black screen issue was fixed over the phone about 3 weeks ago but the lady who helped me installed a male ware program on my Mac, said it wouldn't hurt. Now, not so sure but right now, all I've got is a white screen with a circle and diagonal line through it, so it's totally useless. Once the laundry is through, I can call and have as much time as I need to get it working once again. That's why I hate technology, when it's working all is great but once it's down, one must get help or sometimes have to spend a small fortune to replace a unit that's just too old and outdated to use anymore. Just wish computers were like t v's that can last upwards of twenty years or so. And new tech can get expensive especially Apple products which I think are the best out there. Nice that one can sync ones computer, iPad and iPhone and have them work as one. But can also do that with an android phone and tablet with Windows 10, just really depends what one prefers. Done the android bit but am happier with Apple right now though they are a bit pricier!
fordfool - gee, that really helps me to respect Apple regarding intentionally promoting phone upgrades and "making their older i-Phones run poorly." I'm an Android user, so I don't have a pony in that race. I'm glad I don't, but what little respect I might have had for Apple it's now gone.
@fordfool did see that on the news now this morning so sad sad sad but not suprized at all! makes me not want to upgrate to an nother I Phone big time or any other apple Prodect and was thinking of getting an mack book computer labtop down the road! have to see now

That's a good way to describe them, "generic" would be another. Styling was pretty anonymous, good if you wanted a getaway car following shady activity I suppose. They have all disappeared from the roads here.
well, based on what I saw on the news last night, the spin is that it is because of the batteries getting old, and in theory, if you replace the battery (which of course, is also something Apple does not support!) you get all your speed back!

Then I went to their website and found they have 2 NEW 2015s sitting there! Not to mention 13 2016s other than the one in that email ad. That's gotta suck.

The most recent upgrades are in fact downgrades aimed at making current equipment
obsolete or run poorly.
