Like acid washed jeans and pastel jackets color trends on cars come and go.

In the late 80’s-mid 90’s you HAD to have a green in your color palette. I see a few variations of brown out there now that you didn’t see a few years ago. A couple of them are not bad but its not really my first choice.

But for the most part the heart of color offerings are shades of gray, white and black.

Mazda has a great red and a beautiful dark blue. BMW does some great blues.

Subaru has an orange available on the Crosstrak and well as the Cool Gray Khaki which looks light blue to me.

I often wonder if that's going to happen with the sea of different shades of Blue that have been all the rage for the better part of the last 8-10 years.
Probably. We’ll see an Estoril Blue 340i on the road in a few years and say “ugg...what were they thinking?”
When I 1st saw Laguna Seca Blue on the E46 ///M3s, I hated it. It is actually ONE of my favorite colors for that car now.

BMW made a gorgeous color for the Z3 called Montreal Blue

Your call CCBA members: two punches, one punch or none? My SIL just purchased a '19 RDX Advance in Lunar Silver with Espresso interior. Super nice! She is giving us her well kept pearl white/tan '06 TL/ELS/Nav that she bought new for my daughter to drive. Just prior to my SIL buying the RDX the TL started leaking oil which necessitated replacing the oil pump, an $800+ repair at the Acura dealer which we paid for. Also my wife is spending $200 for a rental car to drive to FL this weekend to pick up the TL, bring back to SC and then register in her name (don't want it in daughter's name for insurance purposes). So we will have about $1600 in the 'free' TL after all is said and done. My daughter is so excited! I wish my first car was that nice!
Picture was taken when she visited a couple of months ago, and I took it for a spin.

I’m diggin’ it! As others said, very cool first car. That’s the “high zoom suite” version with the killer stereo, too! Looks in great shape, too! Definitely a punch!

Call me crazy but I think it works on the Civic. Wouldn’t work on anything else in the line up, but looks pretty good there.

Jeep has a metallic green available for the new Wrangler that I love. The rest of the family says they would never ride in it however.

@nyccarguy ....gonna be in your neck of the woods this weekend. I have a conference I’m attending at the Sofitel in Mid-Town. Never stayed in Mid-Town before. Coming in Saturday. So, conference starts Monday. I’ll have a couple of days to kick around NYC with nothing to do.

I’ve only had one green car, and it was a grayish green that I do tend to like (not mine, but same color).

I also liked the Tasman Green BMW offered
    on the E90 for awhile.

I find it appealing too, and the 2019 offers an equally “highlighter bright” yellow.

But don’t think I could actually buy one for myself.

As for a Wrangler, I think you can pretty much get away with any color.

Damn! I wish I was going to be around (going skiing with my 12 year old's Boy Scout Troop in VT). I'd love to meet up.

There are definitely MORE than a few places within walking distance.

John's Pizza (260 West 44th Street) by 8th Avenue is delicious. They don't have slices, but do have a nice selection of Beer on tap. It is touristy, but the pizza is delicious. I met @corvette there a year ish or so ago.

There is also a delicious Thai/Vietnamese Asian Fusion Restaurant called OBAO (647 9th Avenue) between W45th & W46th Street. My wife and I have been here once and it was delicious. We can't wait to go back.

5 Napkin Burger (630 9th Avenue) close to W45th Street. Touristy, but good service and a large selection of Beer.

Next door to 5 napkin burger is a place called Smackery's Cookies. They are delicious.

Checked with the Apple store, most I can get is $370 for my phone so not sure what I'll do at this point. Probably best to keep what I've got but want a smaller phone with a larger screen, the XR fits the bill perfectly. A few sources have said that it's the best value smartphone in the iPhone lineup right now. Would love a "X" but they're no longer on sale anymore.
My oldest has the "XS" and loves it while the wife got the "XR" and is happy also. So we'll just see how things go.
Just hit 51K on the Golf and it's performing like a champ. Drove a Chevy Trax at work yesterday and it's about the same size as the Golf but think I'd go for a Buick Encore if I went the domestic route just for the longer Buick warranty. And if I had to go with a Trax, would have to be the Premier model with all the goodies. The blue one on the Chevy commercial looks stunning with those alloy wheels, just beautiful.

@tjc78 and @nyccarguy ...thanks guys. That should give me plenty of options. Appreciate the help. Not sure this is going to be a “take a client” out type of conference. But, I’ll definitely check out the suggestions. Just gotta figure out if the company would allow me to slide in a dinner at Keens, given I’m coming in early to save them several hundred in flight fares.

On most reliable: Sedona, Continental and Crosstrek are mildly surprising.

Surprised at the Enclave. We have had two and zero warranty issues other than warped rotors which I'm sure is partly due to our driving style

RDX went in for routine service today. First time in about 4 years the maintence reminder came on before I hit 12 months. 6.5 years old, just about to hit 52,000 miles. Oil change and rear diff fluid at dealer, and a perfect inspection report. So should be good to go until the 60k service. That will have a few extras I’m sure.

Scoped out a new design 3 series today at the dealer. Looked, just like a 3 series! Nice though, new interior looked good but did not see Panel dash lit up. But pricey. A 330i run up to $57k. M sport, premium, executive(?), looked like everything they could throw in short of 2 more cylinders. Cheaper than the $83k M3 at least!

Does that include the Encore? Mine has been flawless until it’s recent encounter with my nekghbor’s Civic. I got an estimate yesterday. Basically they need to replace the driver front door and mirror assembly. So not too bad.

You seem to be averaging a few more miles a year on the RDX than we are on the Outback. Turns 4 years old today and it has less than 31,000 miles.

That may bump up when the Jetta goes back in August, not to be replaced. The girls will commute in the MINI, and the Outback will become my primary vehicle.

The Lincoln and Buick are surprises.

The Alfa is not unfortunately. Hate to see the Atlas there too. Pretty good looking if you need a 3rd row SUV.

Good to see Kia on there. I don’t think Kia and Hyundai deserve the bad rap and depreciation penalty anymore.

About what I would expect pricing wise.  They’ve gotten really out of hand. My 2013 335i was a tick over 50k on the sticker.

For some reason I’ve never warmed to the 4 they put in the 3 series.

People who live in cold weather areas, that don't want to spend $5000 to run a new 220 line to their garage? Or, who don't want to venture forth with a new dealer they aren't familiar with? Or, don't want to think about charging on a road trip?

A lot of reasons. If it's just horsepower, they can always get a 340i. (or, any other luxury make/model)

And, the local Jag/Land Rover dealer provides the Tesla sales/service in my area. That would be enough reason to go screaming the other way.. ;)

I know I'm biased, but who buys this over a Model 3 Dual Motor, with an extra 100hp and autopilot for the same money?
People who live in cold weather areas, that don't want to spend $5000 to run a new 220 line to their garage? Or, who don't want to venture forth with a new dealer they aren't familiar with? Or, don't want to think about charging on a road trip?

A lot of reasons. If it's just horsepower, they can always get a 340i. (or, any other luxury make/model)

And, the local Jag/Land Rover dealer provides the Tesla sales/service in my area. That would be enough reason to go screaming the other way.. ;)
I agree with all this, except.... $5,000 for one line? The wall charger is about $500 from Tesla and I can't imagine more than $1,000 to run a line from wherever the panel is in your house to the charger. Many homes with garages have the panel out there so it would be a very easy install.

Nobody buys a 3 series, they just lease 'em. Teslas don't lease well (yet). Just wait for inventory to pile up.

Stick guy, but the service on the or the ex went well yesterday, you’re good to go for another 10,000 miles or so. The way you keep that car entrance good shape and service it it will be around for years to come, most people don’t service their cars like that, and they wonder why there’s problems with us and here I think we will know better.      My older brother how do use green 1995 Tacoma stick shift with the 3.4 engine for a couple of years, but he bought used with 100 and something thousand miles on it forget how much. Remember going to get the one with him in Connecticut couple hours drive each way. Then he sold it and bought a white tundra what she had for a couple of years, now he owns a construction company he said to Ford after that it says the Toyotas are too weak and he loves his Ford‘s.

All personal preference on brands like anything in life. Yes I remember a queen was a lot more popular back when some of us were kids in here, remember my uncle had a Ford Aerostar or two in that green. And yes your cord and others are popular in that green. We had a green Nissan rogue a few years back it was a bear polar I’ve never seen another one since. Ford offers some green on the edge and escape not sure how it looks have to see it in person one day. Also love the orange that they offer on the escape, different

I’ll be able to see shapes and colors, and good lighting of course hair color skin color things like that close color, but the lighting is bad forget about it. So I’m a few members joining my club and not being able to see well ha ha. Ford also has a couple of interesting red and blue colors on the F1 50 and Ranger. There’s one blue don’t like currently on the explore someone across the street got one for me a couple of months ago it’s an ugly light blue.

Send man, glad you got to drive three tracks yesterday at work. Yes Mazda and some others make some nice reds and blues. Red and blue depending on the shades those two are my favorite colors.
