The Vette is nice. I don’t know the market for those, what do you think it’ll go for $40k?

The Jag has a lot of miles for a finicky car. Is that the Ford 4.0L in it? Might be more reliable than some high strung European motor.

I almost bought a black one but I don't want to look like an unmarked so I went with magnetic instead but still close enough. I think I'll enjoy the fun to be had.....especially with 400 hp.......

I think vroom and Carvana had issues early on when the pandemic hit. Not sure why now. Maybe a technical glitch? Or possibly they got flooded with accepted offers since they were generous and couldn’t keep up. Maybe just try again.

The Brit magazine Thoroughbred and Classic Cars have recently mentioned the E28 535i and F-Type as good cars to buy and drive. They are good values that might even appreciate a bit if you hold on to them.

JR's last few videos have been kind of off:
    * TPMS is good, but also bad!
    * Let's hack up and restomod an all original classic Camaro!
    * Fixed the airbag light in my 2010 Camaro, something something leather seats, it's fixed now, but no video of replacing the passenger presence sensor.

Normally he specifically mentions it if there was a camera failure. Looking forward to the new video of the C30.

Yeah - I think JR is focused on releasing content quickly vs. cohesively - too many cars at once, piecemeal, plus random things about flying? Hoovie does that too, but instead of releasing the videos piecemeal he releases them in more of a series for each car.

Since so many SUVs are black how do you tell the difference in a rear view mirror? They all look pretty similar to me.

I understand him jumping around between projects--that's pretty much the same sort of thing most reality TV shows do, and it's been a resounding success for them. But, some projects, like the R8, go on for too long to the point that they basically disappear/reappear, and it would be cool to have a pre-made playlist for each car for people who are new to the channel and/or interested in specific builds.

I thought the video he did "urban exploring" an abandoned amusement park was pretty cool. It's hosted on a different channel. I think the channel is linked to in the sidebar at the right.

That’s such a shame. Probably drove from the dealer directly into storage. Even if it brings it’s original MSRP the owner is still out the 25 years of storage costs. I love low mileage cars but they should be enjoyed.

Some dimwits could not believe that I took my M6 to the track and also autocrossed it. At the end of the day it’s a car and I used it the way its builders intended.

He showed the replacement of the sensor in a lot of detail. And the module under the seat.

I never realized the occupant sensor was just a big pad, like a cheap seat cushion for a kitchen chair!

The 67, got a lot of blowback on that. Really made no sense since finding a rolling chassis with no motor is not hard, and cheaper!

I like the TPMS episode. Never really saw how those worked and how to replace them. The reset tool was neat.

Part of his problem is he films with one hand while working by himself. So you get very little of the actual work shown. Was better when he had the girlfriend filming. Or when he has helpers so can actually film action.

I saw him flip up the seat covering after he’d replaced the sensor and saying it’s really easy, but I must’ve missed him showing the actual replacement. It might be helpful for him to get a set of glasses with cameras in them so he could film hands free and also show things from his perspective.

yup. That got the most raised eyebrows, I believe. The 540 was another. My two "limos." But they also got me compliments in the form of "I had no idea such a big heavy car could do that!"

The 300z was another that got attention, but more due to age, of course.
