- A4 Premium Plus FWD - Total/Adjusted cap: $36,650 - MF: .00011 - RV: 52% ($22,298) - $1k rebate - CA tax: 8% - Monthly: $437 (includes all taxes/fees)
Good? Also, if I add Audi Care, what would the new values be?
What is the MSRP?
$42,880. (But wouldn't all A4's in CA with the same specs have the same MSRP?)
Well.. sure, but we can't check the calculations without having the MSRP. (you didn't want me to go look it up, did you? )
I get $405+tax, so that looks good. If you add AudiCare, that adds $849 to the CAP, but raises the residual to 53%. That makes it $417/mo.+tax. $12/mo. is a pretty good deal for maintenance.

kyfdx, thank you for the critique! I just now wish we had the April numbers to see if they would make a better deal.
Can AudiCare be higher in certain areas (or am I just being given a marked-up figure at $880)? Also, does a lower mileage limit warrant a lower selling price, or does it just affect the residual value?

I'm not sure if the cost of AudiCare can be marked up by the dealer.
Mileage allowance affects the residual only; you should be able to negotiate the same price regardless of the lease term and miles.

No Audi numbers for April.
Ok thanks. Forgot to mention negotiated cost: 39,750
My lease is ending in June on my 2014 A4 and i'm looking to get a 2017 A4 ultra (pretty much bare minimum specs).
My first day of negotiations started with: 2017 A4 4dr 2.0T Ultra Premium MSRP: $38,805 Selling Price: $35,773 Fees: $448 California Sales Tax: $2,778 Trade allowance: $17,000 Trade Payoff: $19,535 Net sales price: $41,534
The dealership gave me two options for $3,000 down, 36 months/10k: 1) I can return the car as is without a end of lease inspection for: $516/month or 2) have the end of car lease inspection and pay off whatever issues they find, and have a monthly for $400/month.
Has anyone ever come across these options? I may need new tires, but the there are no dents or damage to the body. Very minor scratch if any.
Most likely i'll go with the end of lease inspection, but is there any way to negotiate and go for the $400/month and return the car as is without inspection?

Are you trading the car in or returning the lease early? Those are two different things.
If you are trading it in, you show $2500 of negative equity - that will add about $70/mo to the payment.
If you are ending the lease early, you'll still be on the hook for the remaining payments, plus any end-of-lease charges (damage, tires, etc.).
I'm pretty sure new tires won't run you $2500 - you're probably best off by waiting until you've made your last payment, then negotiating for the new car.

Info on a 2017 A4 Prestige AWD MSRP $53,005. 3 yr/10k or 3 yr/7.5k. tax rate 8%. And, if you can comment. Is it easier to get more than 6% off msrp with Prestige or Premium Plus, both Quattro? Thank you!

.00045 MF and 51%/52% residual
Pricing should be similar, in regards to % off MSRP, but the Premium Plus residual is 5% higher than Prestige. It will be much less per month, even if it had a comparable MSRP.
Hello first time Audi lease candidate here. Can someone be kind enough to give me thoughts on this deal? I am in NY.
36 mo/10k Msrp $45,575.00 Selling price $42,642.76 Customer rebate $1,500 Due at signing $2,899 broken out to $795 acquisition fee, $1,567.50 tax, $97.50 fees and insurance and $439 first month payment. Residual $26,433.50 $439 monthly payment.
Also, can you please comment on whether I should ask to include Audicare in the deal? I am not sure how Audicare works as I am coming out of a BMW which includes annual service.

Oh to add one last bit of info the car is a premium plus season of Audi selection
.00045 and 58%.
If I subtract the rebate from the selling price and use that as the cap cost, I get the same payment you do.
AudiCare costs $849 but adds 1% to the residual, so the net cost to you is less than $400 - can you get the services done for your lease at the dealer for less than that? Probably not.
We would recommend that you add the acquisition fee and taxes into the payment - your payment will increase to $506/mo, but your out of pocket drops to about $600.
If the car is stolen or totaled, you think the state of NY will refund you the pre-paid, but unused, sales tax? Again, probably not.
Hi Michaell, what are current numbers in NorthEast on 2017 Audi A4 Premium quattro Automatic. Based on the Audi's payment estimator, 42 months comes out bit lower per month, is that the optimal lease term for A4? Im looknig for 15k annually. Tanks Tom

Hello, please provide RV, MF and incentives for A4 Quattro Premium /Premium + and Quattro Prestige/ Prestige 2wd , 36 month / 12K miles per year in NY. Thank you!
Can you please provide the money factor and residual value for the Premium and Premium Plus model in Naperville, IL (60490) at 12,000 miles/year for 36 months?
Also, can you please explain how taxes on a lease works in IL? Are there any taxes paid upfront, or are all taxes calculated based off of the monthly payment?
I received the following from a dealer today for the Audi premium plus with sport package, 10k miles 36 months. This will be the first time I've leased a car so wanted to get a second set of eyes on this - is this a decent deal given what you have been seeing recently?

I think Illinois taxes the sum of the payments and collects the money up front; you can choose to pay the taxes when you sign the paperwork, or (our recommendation) roll them into the selling price.

I agree with the calculations, but there is something about that worksheet that bothers me.
In the left column, there is the MSRP ($45,440), then the MSRP After Discount ($39,400). In the right column, there is the Vehicle Cost ($43,399), then a discount amount, then the Total Selling price ($40,896).
Thanks Michael - your sharp eye is always appreciated. The dealer has told me that the $39,440 is a memo-only entry referring to a base price, and has no relevance to the calculations or cost...
That being said, is this a decent deal given what you've been seeing?

It's the base MF and a decent discount from sticker. Nothing overtly wrong with what I see.
Audi's tend to be more expensive to lease than BMW or MB.
