2017 Audi A4 Lease Questions

Greetings. I was just recently offered a deal on a 2017 Audi A4 premium Quattro season of Audi. 

MSRP is 45,300. 

Discounted price is 40500. 

I used a MF of .00045 and residual of 57%. 

Monthly payment= 480 including tax. 

Money due at signing= 2000 including all state fees, documentation fee, and firstborn months payment. 

What's your opinion of how good of a deal this is? Thanks!

I get $438/mo plus tax with those numbers.

What state and tax rate?

And, ask the dealer what the adjusted cap cost is, and how they got there from the selling price.

State is Florida and the tax is 6%. I put all the numbers into a lease calculator, including the 895 acquisition fee and it came out to 480 with tax. 

Really, I just told them my max price based on the fair value price range provided by kbb to come  to the 480. To get to that number, they would basically have to take about 12% off msrp given .00045 MF and 57% residual. 

Sound like a good deal?

If you can get 12% off the sticker price and the base MF, then yes, it's a good deal.

Hello there. Looking at a 2017 A4 Season of Audi Ultra FWD to lease at 10k/36, can you tell me what the residual and MF would be? I was told 55% residual and a MF of .00138 that is fixed by Audi. MSRP is 40,925 with sales tax of 8.25% Austin, TX.

What sort of discount off the MSRP should I be shooting for? Looking to pull the trigger the last working day of the month, 4/29.

The dealer is marking up the money factor (by a lot!)

5%-6% off MSRP.
Texas taxes the full selling price on a lease.

Hello - I have a 2014 S4 coming off lease and it is under miles (39k miles driven on a 45k lease). Looking at 2018 S4 and 2017 A4 and the difference in monthly lease payment is massive, so considering the A4, which I enjoyed driving. NorCal dealer is quoting me $45,000 price on MSRP of $50,425 / invoice of $47,467. Residual = 55% excluding Audicare and MF of .00045. Plus they are offering incentives of $1,750 PLUS $1,000 for "equity" in my S4. Quoted monthly lease of $534 with those inputs, but I'm hazy on the cap cost and will get clarity. Do these inputs look correct? Is this a good deal? Thanks!

If the selling price is the adjusted CAP cost, then I get $512/mo.+tax (about $550-$560 with tax)
I didn't deduct the $2750, as it isn't clear if the $45K price includes that already, or your amount due at signing.
There is a $795 acquisition fee to consider, as well.

Thank you. Yes - 36/12 lease. My existing 36/15 lease was due to unusual travel circumstances and those aren't likely to repeat themselves. The dealer is quoting me an acquisition fee of $895. Is this marked up?

Yes, acquisition fee is marked up.

AFS acquisition fee went up to $895 on 04/17/2017.

I saw somewhere where one of you said that Audi's don't lease well. How about the A4 during SOA? It seems that there are some good deals to be had there, i.e. Audi A4 for under $450/mo.

There are periods where Audi numbers are better than normal. No history on when that is, however.

Hi, I ordered a 2017 A4 Prestige Quattro manual transmission (can't find any here in Northern California), both cold/warm packages, and Driver Assistance. When it arrives, I want to go in to the dealer prepared with my lease numbers worked out.

Looks like acquisition fee went up to $895, right?
What is residual percentage for 36 months/10K
Is 0.00043 the current best money factor?
