Reading this thread about STI numbers...

Isn't MF of .00240 (which is 5.76%) really high? My calculations have that adding ~ $3600 for a 2 year lease on the Base model.

Subaru isn't supporting 24 month leases. Go with 36 months, or pick another vehicle to lease.

That will happen with Subaru dealers, especially with the WRX.

is it within my rights to say i know what the mf really is and that is what i want?

Exactly - the dealer knows what the base rate is. And, reach out to multiple Subaru dealers. Only takes one to meet your numbers.

What would additional miles do to the residual and/or add to the lease price? Example: I am looking for a high mileage lease (for work). My company is reimbursing for the majority of the monthly lease cost, so I am not concerned about paying extra, etc.

I'm looking at a 2017 WRX Base, 36 months, 25k per year and 30k per year options. Just looking for MF, residual, and whether Subaru reduces residual percentage or adds on a price per mile for higher mile leases.

.00134 MF and 64% residual for 36/15.

The extra miles will probably reduce the residual by $0.10-$0.20 per mile. If it's $0.10/mi, then a 25K/yr lease would have a $3000 residual reduction from the 64% of MSRP number. (add $90/mo, more or less).

Some manufacturers have special fleet lease programs for high mileage lessees. Inquire with the dealer (though, that seems doubtful with Subaru).

Hi I'm from IL and was quoted $555 x 39 with 20k a year, $500 due at signing. With a MSRP of $36800 and a selling price of $35333 Residual = 52% 19357. Invoice was $34833 and they have a 1k hold back, the car also has 3k miles on it (demo). Do these numbers look good or do you think they can go lower? Thanks!!!

Current Subaru programs expire on 1/3/17. New numbers should be available later this week.
