That is the correct MF and residual. If the selling price is the CAP cost, I get $575/mo.+tax, but obviously, some of your upfront money is a CAP cost reduction to get the monthly payment under $600.

I would definitely shop around. Can you get by on 7.5K mi/yr?

I will continue shopping around. Would you suggest I negotiate selling price? I don't drive it too much - I put 7800 miles in 2 years on my Lexus that is maturing next month. Mileage?

You definitely want to negotiate selling price.
At 4000 mi/yr, leasing is kind of expensive. But, if you want a new car every three years, it's probably the cheapest way to go.

We don't track selling prices - use the 'make / model / year' pull downs at the top of the page to link to the price tools.

Not sure I would expect that large of a discount on a new 2017 model.

I'm new to leasing and am confused by these two deals posted on the '17 forum. The first deal, you said congrats, but the second deal suggested the person shop around for a better deal. However, the second deal is a much better one (much lower cap cost and monthly payment , even w/ the $3500 down factored over 36 months and added to the $598 = $689/month all in).

*note: the member questions are from qball11 and then margalle

2nd question. Why do people ask for the residual and money factor when both are given (in interest form e.g. 4.9% - just x 2400) on the nationwide Mercedes site every month?

I'd really appreciate your advice and thanks for the great forum!

We tend not to compare deals to each other but rather relative to MSRP.

MBFS posts their lease rates on-line? Do you have a link?

The MSRPs were the same. I was just curious how you were rating the deals different.

My mistake, the residual and percentage rate seem to only show on the Canadian site. Mercedes USA does has the payment estimator, but no residual and percentage rate listed - they should!

We don't really rate deals. We are here to provide information.

If you get a new car, we'll say "Congrats", because we are polite. Congrats doesn't mean, "hey, you got a great deal".

Hi, what's the latest MF and RV for the E300 4Matic for 36 mo, 15k mi/yr? Also, please let me know if that's the Sept or Oct #. I got quoted a MF of .00186 and 58% which doesn't sound consistent with what I've been seeing (unless that's the Oct #).

With that MSRP and CAP cost, $902/mo.

Since the CAP is $4300 over selling price, then just first payment should be due at signing.

Is the commonly suggested 6% deduction applicable and recommended for MB as well? First time leasing an MB and don't want to assume that what works for Audi will necessarily work for MB.

We've heard anecdotal evidence of the pre-paid service being added to the MSRP, so that it's residualized, but not in every case.

Nothing consistent on % discounts for Mercedes.

For a $71k MSRP (E300 4matic P3 with some options, 48mo/15k) , the dealer is offering me a monthly payment of $839 with $2000 down (first month payment and fees). Is this a good deal? What would be money factor and RV for this vehicle and 48mon/15k? I am in Massachussets.

And, can I just say, that $71K for a turbo 4-cylinder MB seems a bit pricey. But, I've never shopped in that price range.

As for the engine, it drives well. I had my fair share of powerful engine cars, and am looking for something comfortable and with great interior at this time. I would opt for a cheaper package if some of the options were configurable as I don't really need all those autonomous driving options. Hence the P3.

Get the adjusted cap cost --- that way, we can determine if the dealer has marked up the MF.
