Hi. In the market for a 2017 XC90 T8 Inscription. Could you advise the current (November) or latest money factor and residual values for 36mo/15k miles and 39mo/15k miles?

And how aggressive should I look at MSRP? 5-6%? Thanks.

I asked for two quotes, at the extremes of high/max down payment; and with $0 down:

With $6,833 down (first month, taxes and all fees, including acquisition fee) - dealer quoted monthly payment of $708. This seemed pretty close to me as per my calculation.

With $0 down - dealer quoted monthly payment of $912. This seems high to me. I got a payment closer to $875.

And 2 final questions:
- Is the $599 dealer fee at all negotiable?

I show .00148 and 57% for 39/15 on the T6 Momentum.

If I add the taxes and fees to the selling price, I get $873/mo, so closer to your number than theirs.

If the selling price is the cap cost, then the payment is $707. I'll assume a rounding error accounts for the difference.

Yes, the Volvo acquisition fee is $695; dealer is marking it up on you.

Dealer fee is fluff, try to negate it with a lower selling price.

The taxes in GA kill you on a lease, for sure.

Tax rate: 8.5% (California)
MSRP (including destination):
$60,255

Looking at either 36 months @ 12k or 36 months @ 15k
What's a good sales price to negotiate?
What is a good Residual Value/MP to get?
MSD recommended? (does Volvo have a standard security deposit to base this off of)?
Any other fees should I be aware of (I think there is a 695 dealer fee, doc/license fees)?

Volvo does offer an MSD program; no details, however.

$695 is the acquisition fee; dealer fee is capped at $80 in CA.

I confirm the MF and residual value.

Using the MSRP and selling price, I get $620/mo - pretty close to your $622/mo quote. Rounding error?

12K residual is 1% lower than the 10K residual. Same MF. 1% of $57,000 is $570, over 39 payments is about $14-15/mo, before interest and MF.

We don't track pricing, so don't know how much lower you can get the selling price.

Only variables in a lease are the MF (dealer can mark it up; they haven't in this case) and the selling price

Ask for all of the fees and find out how much of your $5000 goes to CAP cost reduction.
The number you want is the "adjusted CAP cost".

With only a 4% discount from MSRP, seems like they wouldn't need to make any more money on the finance portion of the lease.

The base fee is $695

Volvo Finance allows dealers to mark up the fee by $300.

Hello, Could you please let me know the MF and RV for 2017 XC90 T6 Momentum Plus / 39 Month - 12k Miles. Wondering if things changed for December. I was just sent this message from a dealer and find it sketchy:

"The money factor in your lease request was for the November lease program. Unfortunately that lease program has expired, the new one that came out today has a money factor of .00172 for 39 months, which overall is a change of about $20 per month. The lease on the XC90 that you selected, with all taxes and fees paid up front, would be $718 per month. The lease you were given on the other XC90 by my teammate would also have gone up $20 per month from last month because of the change in the money factor."
