I've never heard of anyone having to pay tax on AudiCare as part of a lease.

Call a few other dealers and see if you get the same answer from them.

With your MSRP and Adjusted Cap, I get $535/mo.

So, either the cap cost is different from what you've given us, or the MF is marked up. Given that you're paying all the taxes and fees up front, I'm guessing the latter.

Politely tell the dealer you won't sign anything with a marked up MF, and see what happens. They know what the base MF rate is.

Anything you purchase is going to be taxed. If you are paying for it upfront, it's taxed upfront. If you are rolling it into the lease payment, then it will be taxed there.

What is the September MF and Residual for 2017 Q5 3.0 Premium Plus. 36 month lease, 10K miles per year. Please confirm Florida Acquisition fee is $795. Doc fee is $695 from my dealer. How much is Audicare? And from what I have read, purchasing Audicare adds 1% to residual.

Based on everyone's experience, do you see the rates or incentives getting any better on the '17's as we approach end of year? Many of my local dealers have quite a number of Q5 in stock. I know loyalty ends sept 30. Can we see more/greater incentives for October?

Can't predict what will happen to the numbers going forward .. but, at some point, Audi will stop supporting the 2016's. That will happen without notice.

That usually depends on inventory - if there's a lot of stock around, expect the good lease numbers to continue.

Yes.. 12K/yr adds 2% to the residual.

Can't really help you with the pricing. Insisting on the base money factor allows you to accurately evaluate the rest of the deal. Anything you ask the dealer to pay (like your payments) is going to be added into the deal somewhere else.

This looks like a third party bank funding the lease .. the Audi Financial numbers are .00132 and 59% for 36/12.

Using the AFS numbers with your prices, I get $498/mo before tax.

Ouch on the $499 fee. NYS restricts dealer fees to $75, but it's the total cost you are looking for.

Base MF, for starters.

The dealer fee is a killer, too. Better to negotiate a lower price to offset that.

If you get the adjusted cap cost and understand how they got there from the selling price, there isn't anyplace to hide the fees.
