What is the MSRP?

Base MF for the 3.0T Prem Plus is .00173 - while the MF is bumped, it's not that much, which seems odd.

Be polite and tell them you won't sign a deal with an inflated MF.

Add 1% for 7.5K/yr.

For 30 months, add 3% to the 36 month residuals (same MF)

I've said it before and will say it again...do NOT lease this car unless you're getting a huge discount. It's the last year of the model, and outdated, IMHO (I had a 2015 P+).

I leased mine (49K msrp) in May of last year for 550/month including CA tax (9%) with a 560 drive off including first month. That, by the way, was including a trade in of a 2013 allroad with 14 months remaining and a big ding on the rear bumper (1200+ damage).

Audi numbers are national. 15K/yr lowers residual by 2% vs. 12K/yr.

I don't think Audi locks in their numbers, like BMW, but check with a dealer.

Your numbers give me a payment of $555/mo. To get to $695/mo, the cap cost has to be $5000 higher than the selling price.

Sorry the 42790 is MSRP price, the selling price is 41000.

No, you need to understand why the dealer is getting a different payment - ask them to confirm the adjusted cap cost. If it is different than the selling price, make them explain the difference.

We're shopping for a 2017 Q5 3.0T Premium Plus with Technology Package and 20-inch 5-arm design wheels in SoCal, lease terms 36-mo @ 10k mi/yr.

Dealer proposes a monthly payment of $580/mo (not sure if that's pre- or post-tax) with $1650 drive off fees paid. No down payment.

This was over the phone so I haven't seen a full printout showing MSRP and selling price, but same configuration on the Audi website comes up as $51,075.

Can you calculate me the MF/RV figures based on the above or do you need more into? Seems like a square deal based on what I've seen, but would appreciate an expert opinion.
