Would anyone be able to help with an SQ5 lease price? MSRP is $60400, came down to $57400. They want $4500 down 36 no the, 10k miles a year for $769. Seems high, right?
Yes, seems high, especially with that much up front cash. Premium Plus or Prestige?
Prestige.  What do you think would be a good target price?
.00171 MF and 62% residual It's not the price really... With $4500 upfront, they are probably marking up the rate, and adding some garbage fees. Which state? Tax rate?
    NJ. 6.8%

With the base MF and residual, the CAP cost would have to be about $59,200 to get a payment of $769 mo.

    57400 selling
    $895 acq.fee
    $500 DMV fees (est)
    $400 dealer/doc fee (est)
    $2000 tax (est)
    $61,200 Gross CAP
    - $3730 CAP reduction ($4500 upfront minus 1st payment)
    = $57470 NET cap.

Looks like an extra $1750 in your deal somewhere.... Or a marked up money factor.
Basically, with the prices given, either your payment should be $50/mo less, or with the $769/mo payment, the upfront money should be around $2750.

Thank you for that. So, if I get the $50 off a month, is it a pretty solid deal?

I'd say it's an average deal, with $50/mo. lower

  • I received a quote today for a new 2018 Q5 Premium Plus with 20" wheels and Cold Weather Pkg with an MSRP of $48,575. I received a 10% discount for a negotiated price of $43,717. MF and Residual is .00169/59% for 36/10K lease with nothing out of pocket just $639 including tax and all fees x 36 months. Am I getting a good deal? Based in South Florida.

I see you've also posted this in the correct (2018) thread - I'll answer you over there.
