as I said before ...your credit didn't make much difference in MF. they raised it but just a bit.
the adjusted cap cost should be lower. you should just stand your ground on the 12-15% off msrp. heres what is should look like:

With the numbers you mentioned it looks like they are only giving you an 8% discount off msrp. did you confirm the amount of the rebate to be 5375 and 500 bonus cash?
keep trying. as mentioned above the doc fee is extremely high but people never complain so its normal.

It doesn't look like $32,360 is the actual sale price. If so, the adjusted CAP would be $28361, and the payment would be $265/mo.+tax.

So, something isn't adding up.

Ask them for a quote that doesn't involve you putting up an extra $3999 upfront. Then, you'll get a good idea of the actual monthly cost of the lease.
Without that extra $3999, their quote would be about $485/mo. That's a lot for a Maxima.

And, the $3740 equates to over $100/mo, so the true cost is $359+ before tax.

@whit5 The ad is for a lot cheaper model. Hard to extrapolate those numbers to the model you are looking at.

You'd have to pencil out a deal on both to see which makes better sense, financially. $3600 more in incentives is $100/mo on the payment.

We only have residuals for 15K maximum; check with the dealer on how they address higher-mileage leases.

But, in either case, the finance charges related to the money factor are under $8/mo. for either model. So, not a relevant difference.

Then the depreciation of the monthly lease payment for 36 months will be = (30000 - 40%)/36

OR (30000 - 12000)/36 = 18000/36 = $500

and then interest and taxes above and beyond. Is it? Am I doing something wrong?

The residual is a percentage of the full MSRP.

So, $30000 - residual = depreciation / term = monthly depreciation
