I would ask for a breakdown of the $4217 delta between the selling price and total cap cost ... seems high to me.

My guess is the rest is a cap reduction (aka down payment) - which we don't recommend. as that money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled.

You are getting more than 10% off sticker; not sure there is much more room there. You are getting the base MF with autopay - no room to negotiate there, either.

If you're comfortable with the numbers, it looks like a solid deal.

Hello. I’m new the leasing world and would like advice on leasing a 2017 Mercedes GLE 350 with Premium 3 Package. I live California and I went to the Mercedes Benz website to build my SUV and it came out to be $63,765.00 MSRP. I’m hoping to do a 36 month lease with 12k miles per year and 0 down.

So here are my questions.

1. How much should I be willing to pay for this SUV? I saw other SUV’s in the forum and they go below MSRP by as much as 7k.
2. Where can I find the invoice price for this vehicle.
3. What is the typical Money Factor?
4. What is the typical residual value percentage I should be expecting?

Any other advice is much appreciated. Thanks.

1) "Build" your car using the Make/Model/Year tabs at the top of the page to get Edmunds TMV price
2) You can find the invoice price the same way as 1)
3) 2WD or 4Matic?
4) 55% residual for 36/12.

I'm looking at 2WD. Here is what Edmunds came up with for pricing. Invoice = $58,902, MSRP=$63,265 and TMV=$57,433* Should I take these numbers to the dealer and have them match the TMV price?

The invoice number doesn't really mean anything. Only the MSRP and the price you offer. You don't have to mention Edmunds to make that offer. Before you start making offers, make sure they have the vehicle you are interested in, and take it for a drive.

I suppose it depends on how long you plan to keep the car.

That MF works out to almost 3.5% interest. You'd have to consider the opportunity cost of buying outright with cash versus the interest (rent charge) paid during the lease.

Can someone enlighten me on the MF and RV for a 2017 GLE63s and GLE63. I have been shown .00199 and 54% for 36 months 10k miles. Also, the pull ahead program they are offering 5 months payment, are they somehow burying the money into the new lease.

Finally made the deal for new GLE RWD. Had loyalty accelerator. 24 months at 12,000 a year. MRSP 56,995 with cap cost reduction to 47,285. Rolled dealer fee and inflated acquisition fee into payment. I agree with those in the background about these extras. This is what the dealers around here do. Payment is 666.78 with $1,050 out of pocket. Best I could do as I wanted to get rid of old ML 350 as right new service and possibly new tires.

You can, but MB likely has a minimum MF they have to maintain (likely .00005 or so). I guess it is possible to use the max 10 MSD to bring the MF down to that .00005 threshold.

If the dealer allows it. We've heard different stories about the use of MSD on supported MF - you can, you can't.

Check with your dealer.

54% for "S", 52% for non-S on 36/10

Standard MF is used - we've heard that it's between .00200 and .00220

The pull ahead programs wipes out your remaining payments - MBFS covers them for you. They are not rolled into the new lease.

Best way to get a lower payment is to start with a less expensive vehicle.
