    Get a quote of $800 (inclusive of tax) in Washington state for a GLC 4Matic with MSRP of $51,000 for 36months, 10k miles and 4000 down. Can you please let me know if it the lease number is okay. I understand 4000 down is high.

    With the $51,000 MSRP and assuming 9.8% sales tax, the cap cost would have to be $52,000 to get $800/mo with tax included. That's after the $4000 down.

    That, or the dealer is marking up the MF for extra profit.

    Not a good deal.

    Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost, and a full breakdown of the $4000.

    Seems kind of high. Do these numbers seem correct? I've used a couple online calculators as well as my own from this website and I get more like $550/mo. Also, they said they don't let us do security deposits..is this normal?

    Ask for the adjusted CAP cost. That should clear up any discrepancy. Acquisition fee is probably marked up from the $795 base, as well.

    Hello. Thanks in advance for the help, I have a sneaky suspicion this deal is not good...

    Quote is for 2017 Glc Coupe:

    Retail price: $54,265
    Discounted to $52,000 selling price
    Fees: $602
    Sales Tax: $3681.93
    Net Sales Price: $56, 283.93

    36/7.5k miles: $0 down/$891, $1k/$861, and $5k/$741
    36/10k: $0/906, $1k/$876, and $5k/$756

    They quoted a MF of 0.00146, when I told them 0.00081 was the rate, they said that a 1/2 percentage point mark-up is standard.

    I can't figure out where all the extra money is going? Does this sound right? Taxes would be up front in GA and this is with it rolled into the payment. Any advice for negotiating? Not many 2017s left on the lots out here.

    Thanks for the quick response, I admit, I might be trying to get over :smile: I'll try and be more realistic. But, should I accept anything over base MF? What's reasonable? And with the new model's coming out, is there a certain percentage of MSRP I should be aiming for?

    We always suggest you get the base MF - politely tell them you won't sign a deal where the MF is inflated. Then, start shopping other dealers; it only takes one to meet your numbers.

    The processing fee is only $399. So you would suggest making the first months payment and paying all taxes and fees upfront?

    The processing fee is only $399. So you would suggest making the first months payment and paying all taxes and fees upfront?
    The $399 is a dealer added fee; the acquisition fee is imposed by the bank and cannot be waived. And, the dealer can mark that fee up to as much as $1095.

    I would suggest paying only the first payment and DMV costs up front, and adding all other taxes and fees into the lease payment.

    Third, he claimed he "needs to make a profit to keep the lights on." and I was given a significant discount on the MSRP from $44,000 to $41,000.

    Given that there are only three MB dealerships in Houston, what is your recommendation?

    Should I ask them to order me the base model advertised on their website and wait?

    I had the similar situation in east coast.
    The dealer insisted on marking up MF to .0018.

    As this car is so popular, they don't want to reduce the price too much.

    .00134 is the base MF for the GLC300 RWD, so that's good.

    Now I'm at $409/mo plus tax, which looks closer to the dealer quote.

    Do we have the MF/RV for 2017 GLC 300 RWD in NM 87113
    36/10000 miles and 36/7500 miles

    Also, I was wondering if it would be smart to lease a 2017 in July or would I benefit more with a higher RV on a 2018

    Sorry, but we haven't seen the July programs, yet.

    New models rarely have better lease deals than the outgoing model.

    Hi could i please get the 36/7.5k lease numbers on the GLC300 (not 4 Matic), i am willing to do the autopay if it lowers the money factor. I am in Miami. Also, is there owner loyalty for July programs?

    By the way, Miami Mercedes is discounting a 44k car $5500 to $38500

    Been negotiating a 2017 GLC300 4Matic at my regular dealership. Not turning in my current leased car until this fall, so I have some time.

    My dealership is quoting me crazy #s on this car. 36/10 at $750 per month with $1000 down. After some tooth pulling, they told me the MF is .00216(!) and residual is around $29k (selling price $47k). I'm not doing this deal, obviously, but I'm not sure what gives. I have 800+ credit, etc.

    I had planned to put down some MSDs and do auto pay to reduce the MF further, but it seems pointless when we are starting with a jacked-up MF.

    I'm moving on to another dealership to try to negotiate a little better, and I'm also wondering....

    1. What is a reasonable MF for a 1-pay MB lease?
    2. MB loaners - how much % off sticker price will they usually go? I have never negotiated a loaner.

    .00130 MF and 58% residual for 36/10
    Don't have the one-pay money factor.

    A loaner will have the residual reduced to account for the current mileage. It should be discounted further to account for that residual reduction, plus an additional amount more than a new unit would be. No idea how low you can go.
