    In Texas, you can choose to pay the taxes up front, or roll them into the lease payment.

    We suggest the latter. If the car is stolen or totaled before the end of the lease, you won't get a refund of the taxes you pre-paid but didn't use.

    If the prices are the same for each scenario, the lower MF will always be the better choice.

    .00152 MF and 56% residual for 36/15.
    Check with a dealer for the residual reduction for 18K/yr.

    Sale price at invoice $39,991

    Drive off I'd like to pay just fees and first month payment.

    I'm located in Orange County, CA with 8% sales tax I believe.

    What's the best payment I could get?

    Rolling in the $795 acquisition fee.
    $537/mo.+tax = $580/mo.
    Due at signing would be about $1100 with 1st payment, title/doc fees

    No idea if that's the best payment you can get.. Just the calculation based on the numbers you provided.

    Yes - TX assesses lease tax against the entire selling price; LA against the monthly lease payment.

    Suggest you check with the departments of revenue for both states to see what you'll owe.

    If living in Texas and car comes from Louisiana will I need to go to the TX DMV once acquired? Or will MB Financial/dealer handle (tax, title, license etc...)?

    I don't know the specific registration guidelines for each state; not sure that MBFS will help all that much, but you can reach out to them and see what they say.

    Adding $795 acquisition fee and tax to the CAP = $46532 adjusted CAP
    $634/mo. with 1st payment and DMV/dealer fees due at signing.
    Every $1000 adds about $31/mo. with tax.

    Normally, I don't suggest 48 month leases, but since you pay tax on the full selling price in TX, and your mileage needs are low, it might be worth it. Residual is 49% for 48/7.5K, and payment would be $602/mo. ($23/mo. for every $1000 for 48 months)

    No idea about pricing on another website.

    Outside of stating that I will not accept an inflated MF on a lease from the sales rep. How do you recommend I respond to below:
    Have you ever heard of this?
    Would you recommend I speak to new car sales mgr at location at this point or new car finance mgr/GM?

    In fact the base rate for the Money Factor for May has dropped to .00134 and we are marking it up .0005, so yes, your 4.42% rate is accurate. (they quoted .00184 MF)

    Since you have already shopped with my other locations and that markup has been documented I am unable to go any lower.

    Auto pay reduces the rate by .0001 so your net rate would be .00174 or roughly 4.18%

    I want to proceed but why would I ever accept an inflated rate? thx

    Be polite and tell them you won't sign any deal with a marked up MF.

    I don't know how far you are willing to travel (you mentioned LA at one point), but it only takes one dealer to meet your numbers.

    All that said, the GLC is a popular vehicle. This may be the best you can do.
