Not sure if anyone here can help - I found a 2017 Sierra Denali for a heavy discount since it is used, but only with ~300 miles on it. It wasn't a loaner/demo it was bought and then returned within a week. Research shows GM does offer used car leases but I'm not sure if this is still accurate. Any idea how to approach this? I was thinking a 24 month lease so that I won't have to worry about it falling out of warranty. I feel that I can get a great deal but also can imagine the dealer will used inflated MF or wrong residual so I want to get the correct #'s if they are out there. Thank you in advance!

We don't have any information on GM CPO lease programs.

Probably best to stick with new, since you'll know all the variables.

A dealer in PA has told me that the big $ off is for purchase only as stated above. They will use supplier pricing instead on leases for the trucks that have the GM Special Offer like the Denali and SLT.

I just signed on a 2017 GMC Sierra 4x4 Crew Cab Denali lease with an MSRP just under $60k. The numbers in this thread were dead on which made negotiations easy. I was able to secure $479 a month, including tax on a 36/12 with only first payment due. I did receive a GM private offer certificate for $2,000 off which stacked on top to get to this deal. The Sierra and Canyon have similar lease variables, but the Sierra probably comes with bigger discounts. Hard to say if it would be cheaper though, given it's higher list price.

I show .00133 as the base MF from GM Financial for 39 months.

Is this a 4x4 or 4x2?

Yes, 39 months is the best term.

Shoot for a lower selling price, to make up for the ridiculous FL dealer fees.
Ask for the base money factor.

.00133 MF and 66% residual is correct.
$622.70+tax with that adjusted CAP cost.
I get the same payment they do.

You need an accounting of how they get from the CAP cost (which, I assume is the selling price) to the Adjusted CAP cost.
If those numbers make sense, and you are happy with that selling price, then the rest of it looks good.
I can't tell you if that price is good or not.

Not sure where your $599 comes from. If you remove $3600 from the CAP, it will lower the payment by $100/mo.

Hey MIKE and KYDFX....I just wanted to check in with you guys and thank you for all of your help over the past few years. I have leased my 2nd Denali in late July and even though its a couple of months old...here were my final numbers:

Leased on July 21, 2017 in Northwest Ohio

2017 Sierra Denali 6.2L short bed "Ultimate" Sticker $64,250

money factor of .0125 (aka 3%)
69% residual of $44,288
Supplier Pricing (Needed a certificate from a national insurance company as I am a broker)
Sales Price was $59,427
Gross Cap Cost $60,380
Cap Cost reduction of $1000 ($1000 rebate applied)
Adjusted Cap Cost 0f $60,380
I had to put down the first months payment of $599
Dealer document fees and local title fees of 175 wrapped into the lease

My final monthly payment is $599 and that includes local Allen County, Ohio sales tax.

For the money I don't know why anyone wouldn't just go with the Denali Ultimate package. The 2014 Sierra Denali that I turned in had a 5.3L and a sunroof as the only option. I thought I'd get better gas mileage with the smaller V8. I was wrong as I had a few friends get the same truck with the bigger 6.2L and they consistently got 1-2 miles average per gallon driving the same roads and style that I do. So, I moved up to the 6.2L for 2017.
There are some neat safety things on the Ultimate package that I wouldn't have normally ordered myself. However, for about the same price as ordering just the 6.2L, with the ultimate package you get some of these very neat extras for the same money.

All in, after 8 weeks of driving the 2017 Denali over the same roads and the same routes I am getting almost 2 MPG better with the bigger V8. It's amazing. The performance is great too. The truck is a beast! I think that the extra MPG's will help pay for the big V8 in gas savings and power performance over the 5.3L!!! Net-Net I get the ultimate package for an extra $27 a month. Thanks again for you guys and this websites help. I am a very happy owner of my 2nd Sierra Denali.
