That's a 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu sport coupe, (2-door hardtop).
  • fintailfintail Member Posts: 58,626
Compare that to a new Malibu

You are correct about the cut down doors belonging to a Triumph, rather than an MG-A.
it's a '58 TR-3A, the wood steering wheel is an aftermarket item.

from the 60's someplace. Don't ask me model names though.

Looks to be parked behind an early 60's Valient, judging by the fender/taillight.

And a nice early 90's vintage Previa in the lot.

And finally, an Olds Cutlass for Andre parked behind it.

Lol something is messed up with edmunds, some messages are getting posted twice, like on the 2008 Challenger forum. The time sequences are also out of order, message 5044 time says 10:33 am which is before message 5043 at 10:55 am! :confuse:

That Rambler is a 2 door I see, must be rare
  • andys120andys120 Member Posts: 23,675
It's a '62 Rambler American, the tailight could just as easily belong to a Dart as a Valiant (ca. '63='66).

    From the 90's, I believe.

I'd much rather have the current iteration myself.
  • ateixeiraateixeira Member Posts: 72,587
Isn't is earlier than that? 80s, is my guess.

    Those look so outdated now.

Yep, it's an '86 Quattroporte Serie III. I've seen 'em and though boxy and squarish they have that certain stylishness that Italian cars usually have. What's Italian for Je ne se quois? ;)

Well, not just any Cobra, it's one of the famous
Dragonsnakes, CSX2075, the first production 289 MkII Cobra.

Dragonsnakes were extensively drag raced in '63 and '64 by both factory and private teams. 2075 was a private entry (non-factory).

    Here's the full story.

Can you tell I love small-block Snakes? ;)

1960 Chevy wagon. My guess would be the middle trim level; Parkwood if I remember right.

It's been modified, notice how low it rides in front and it has chromed rims with Moon style hubcaps. Crossbars in grille aren't stock for a '60 Chevy, must be custom . It's not likely to be a Holden as it's LHD

ah, yes, Fiat 500 Giardiniera, they had the suicide doors until about 1967 - nice DS in the background, what was the coupe beyond it - a Bagheera?
  • navigator89navigator89 Member Posts: 1,080
    1960 Chevrolet Parkwood is correct.
  • andys120andys120 Member Posts: 23,675
Iwas mistaken about the grillework of the '60 Chevy, this car has identical Crossbars>

    Hillman Minx ca. 1960

Looks like a Holden Ute in the background too
  • magnettemagnette Member Posts: 4,237
Hillman Minx IIIa,IIIb and IIIc all looked the same, the IIIa was introduced Sep 59, and the convertible was dropped from what had become the IIIc range in summer 62.
  • andys120andys120 Member Posts: 23,675
'61 Minx, probably a IIIb based on what Magnette says.

    Another from the 60s>>

Hi Andy--we do have have a 1976 Beijing Chinese Army Jeep. 300 miles original. Do you or anyone else out there know of any others in the U.S.? I know it is rare and a beauty. Need feedback please.

  • andys120andys120 Member Posts: 23,675
Well actually it is a Diablo....sort of. It's a Lamborghini Coatl, made in Argentina by their Argentina subsidiary, it's a Diablo under the skin.

I have no idea how many of those are in the USA, I'd try a military vehicle collectors club, they might know. I assume this vehicle is based on the Russian UAZ design.
