64 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible. looks like a front bench seat, so probably not an XL. Don't recall if they still called their soft tops Sunliners by then?
If you were brought up in NYC you'll recognize the location. I'm pretty sure the little roadster is the newest car, it's 8 or 9 MYs newer than the black car on the left.

No, haha...just a lot of creepy people preying on the gullible and helpless---you know, "New York".
I carried all my loose change from my paper route in a heavy woolen sock, so I could use that either to extract coins to play all the machines in the arcade, or to swing and hopefully maim somebody who was out to get me.
I think so; and isn't that a same year Buick behind it. Interesting that most of the sedans are two door hardtops. Imagine cars that big having only two doors. The third H/T is the parked '55 or'56 black/red Mercury.
I was thinking the Buick HT behind the 57 Olds was a 56, but it appears to be a Roadmaster so maybe that model didn't use the 3 window back glass design? maybe a red 54 Mercury next to it?
Nope the, Giulia 1600 was the later, longer version of the Alfa Spider. The picture shows a 1960-61 Alfa Giulietta 1300 as per the tiny tailights and the vent windows which weren't on earlier versions.
Yes, the tailights say '54 Merc, not '55-6 as I thought earlier.
Check out that mail truck...they still have some that look just like it.
The black sedan parked to the right is a 1951-52 Pontiac. Too much side trim for a Chevy
Yup, it's an '85 Mustang GT, similar the '86 I had. The big difference being that '86 was the first yr for the EFI. It actually had 10% less HP (200HP vs. 220 for the carburated '85)
Right you are! That's a Lancia Aprilia, probably right after WW II, so I'm guessin' 1946. This was soon followed by the more modern Aurelia. A little gem of a car, beautifully made.

Sorry Shifty, ab348 is right, it's a Lancia Ardea(1939-53). It's an easy mistake to make the Ardea is a smaller car that was basically a scaled down Aprilia. The Ardea was technically advanced featuring a V4 engine and the first five speed transmission on a production car. It was succeeded by the Appia.
Should have gotten out my measuring tape! Geez, they look the same. I jumped on Aprilia because I had just been around one two weeks ago--and it looked very similar.
I can see one has a split bumper and the other doesn't.

I wouldn't even count on that, given that both were made for some time. I've never seen either but they looklike neat little cars.
I don't know if anyone saw the recent HBO series My Brilliant Friend It was a story about the friendship of two young women that takes place in Naples during the 1950s and 60s. The story is really well done but there's a bonus for us car nuts, there's a plethora of period Italian cars of all kinds: Alfas, Lancias, Vespas, and about every Fiat you can imagine.

I'm not from NYC, but I'll guess Coney Island? Yup, they've cleaned it up a bit and as with Times Square, it's not as interesting. I think so; and isn't that a same year Buick behind it. Interesting that most of the sedans are
