We had a ‘74 Impala when I was in university. Actually a nice looking car on the outside although the interior seemed a victim of cost cutting and it ran like a dog.
Those dinosaurs depreciated into nothing with a few gas crunches. White on white 72 T-Bird in front, same color combo as my mom's car (her's was slightly newer, depreciated the same).
was a 1954 Fiat 500 Toplino Belvedere Giardinera. The Topolino (Little Mouse) version of the Fiat 500 was made from 1936-56, a pretty good run, until replaced in 1957 by what was then known as the Nuovo 500 with it's tiny rear-mounted motor.

I paid $700 for my 79 Continental Town Coupe in 1998.
A couple years ago, a friend of mine's dad passed, and they sold a car from his estate, a similar Town Coupe (I want to say a 77). I think it sold for less than $1500. It was a ~25K mile car that had unfortunately sat outside for years, so the paint was rough, but interior and powertrain were decent. I think the new buyer was going to make it a custom.
Our T-Bird was off the road in 1985. My dad gave it away for free.
Those Sportvans I think were pretty rare. I bet VW out sold them by 10-11:1 and there are plenty of Micro-bus survivors. Can't remember when I last saw a Chevy Sportvan
I remember my Dad joking about the gas crisis every time he heard a siren in the distance. He'd say something like: "There's another ambulance heading for a Cadillac dealer".
It's the new version of the Fisker Karma, now made in Moreno Valley CA USA by a subsidiary of Wanxiang, which bought the design from Fisker ca. 2014. It's now known as the Karma Revero.
It's likely the most expensive hybrid car. I doubt many will fork over $100k+ fr a car with no brand equity but maybe that's just me
Your entitled to your opinion but I think the Model S is one of the best looking cars out there and Tesla at this point has acquired more brand equity than Karma, a lot more.
the 3 is not bad looking. a neighbor 3 doors down from me recently got the CUV (X?) version. That is kinda chunky.
Yeah the "Ute" is the Tesla Model X. Unlike the other Teslas it doesn't look very good. To me it looks as if someone just took an Asian hatchback and blew it up>
I haven't seen very many and considering the popularity of Crossovers and SUVs I'm probably not the only one who thinks so.

(That doen't mean I'd buy one.)
I just saw a Fisker today, in the "flesh". It was a platinum color and I have to say there's nothing like it on the streets. It's a real looker and people were lookin'. I think it's more beautiful than a Tesla because it is less conventional. The Model S is very tasteful but there's nothing bold about it. The Fisker is more like a work of Art that apparently doesn't work too good!
The newest cars are 1953MY; white Mopar 7 cars back on left, possibly the leading Packard on right and the black Olds w sunshade near it in Middle row. I think that's a (19??) Kaiser behind the Olds.
Yep, a tunnel that was supposed to be completed years ago, but ran into mechanical issues. Via this, I think it ended up going over budget by about 250MM.
Hard to tell where the pic is, as Seattle has redeveloped so much in the past 20 years or so, old buildings are often not useful as reference points. However, the shape of the road is a hint, along with the stairway - this appears to be near Pier 62, where Pine St intersects with the viaduct, And there stairway is still there on google maps
Alaska Way is an abomination of the city skyline and a beautiful waterfront. But my money bets instead of beautification, once the viaduct is torn down the property will be converted into a mass of more buildings. It may be very liberal downtown, but more buildings means more property tax revenue to blow Ka-ching!
San Francisco torn down its waterfront freeway and it certainly improved the neighborhood. Of course this presumes you really want $8 avocado toast and refrigerator magnets.

probably the only one with a trailer hitch too. That actually tows a trailer.
