There's a woman who works in my office who has a first style L wagon similar to that. I've talked to her about it a couple times, as it is fairly immaculate. Original owner, and she loves it.
Mid 60s Triumph TR-4 ('62-'65) very similar to the '66 TR-4A I owned. The wheels are aftermarket copies of Minilite mags probably a lot cheaper than the real things.
So am I, real Minilites are really expensive and the look-alike Panasports should be fine for street use. If you're going racing you should get the real Minilites.
Looks like Rob Walker's 250 GT Lusso. But the Walker car was right hand drive and painted in the Walker racing colors Blue with White stripe. I remember reading "Rob's Cars" stories in R&T. Good times.
A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing.
Yup, it's a Ferrari 250GT Berlinetta Lusso. According to lore it was commissioned by Enzo himself when he first saw the new Jaguar E-type ca. 1960. He told his friend and collaborator Battista Pininfarina that it was the most beautiful car he'd ever seen and challenged him to style a Ferrari that was equally beautiful. The result was the Lusso Berlinetta based on the chassis of the 250GT SWB but with a more luxurious interior and a slightly de-tuned Colombo 3 liter V12.
Lusso is the Italian for Luxury and a Berlinetta is a close-coupled coupe.
I'll never forget the first time I saw one. One day in '63 I was riding up NYS Rt. 17/The Quickway thru the Catskills and we get passed by this silver beauty wearing Italian Tourist plates (EE) sporting the 4 big tail pipes that were then unique to Ferrari V12s.
If Pininfarina did not quite match the unique beauty that marks the early E-Types he came tantalizingly close IMHO. Of course the Lusso cost twice what the Jag did, 351 were made in 1962 and '63.
-Steve McQueen's was a controversial metallic brown. Guitar god Eric Clapton had one
-Chevrolet borrowed many of the styling elements for the 1970 Camaro and had a version called the Camaro Berlinetta.
-Unlike most Ferraris of the day the Lusso was not designed with GT or sports car racing in mind and very few were ever raced.
-European ideas of luxury in the early 60s did not include power locks, windows or steering or air conditioning and the 250GT Lusso had none of those.
Since that one was knocked off so quickly, let's try this. Can anyone ID the car in the front? I recognize the Peugeot behind it but I am stumped by #1. It is from Vienna circa 1964.
58 Chevy wagon on the street at far left beside the Beetle. 2 cars ahead of the Olds looks like a 58 Ford, with a 58 Edsel in line at the row to the left, behind a 56 Chevy wagon. Another 58 Ford in the background of the lined up cars, in front of a 40s style truck. Oldest car is probably the car in the rightmost row near the people, looks like a 39-40 GM, probably a Chevy.
Pretty sure in the first row there is a 58 Olds 98.
Yup, the black car at the end of the row to the right of center is definitely a '58 Olds. That year Olds and Buick were having a contest to see who could put the most chrome striping on the car.
There are a couple of Beetles up front (the older Cabrio would be worth something today I imagine) and a Fintail for @fintail, but what are the two vehicles front right and elsewhere beyond? Location is Berchtesgaden in the Bavaria region of Germany, 1964.
The white car next to the Cabrio is a Ford Taunus ca. 1960-64. It might be one of the newest cars. Behind that cab we see the nose of a Fiat 500 or 600, another of which is parked next to the building at top.
Two different types of fintails no less, a W110 at left and a W111. The car to the right of the "Badewanne" Taunus is a prior gen Taunus, and what looks like a BMW 700 at left of the bubble car (which to me looks like an early Isetta).
That's a 1973-74 Porsche 911RS 2.7 Carrera, my favorite variant of the 911. It could be had without the silly lettering on the side, here's my scale model of it>
Early 60s Porsche 356. I can’t tell years apart or a B form a C.
It's a Porsche 356A ca. 1955/56. If a 356 is wearing hubcaps you can tell it's model letter: round ones like that are a 356A. Flatter ones with raised center section are 356Bs, 356Cs have pretty flat hubcaps without a raised center.

Would those be the original wheels those hubcaps are on? They look rather wide for a mid-50s car. Might make IDing the model year by the hubcap choice rather unreliable if the wheels are a later addition.
