That's a Lincoln behind the Cadillac, a Premier?

What are those huge tailfins behind the salesman's head--behind the 1958 Chevy wagon?

I think the big fins are another Lincoln similar to the one you mention.

Looks like a 62 Ford under the covered area at left, door open, probably a Galaxie 2 door HT.

Interesting to see a few old timers at Powell Motor Co. at right - I spot a 39 Chevy and what looks like a Model A coupe, with maybe a Scout between them, also something old to the left of the 39 Chevy (gives me a 35-36 Mopar vibe).

    The 58 Chevrolet wagon - I'm guessing it's Brookwood

Under the VO of Powells is a Chevrolet with a chrome grille - circa 38? - not the oldest car there though - there's something from the Depression on the right shoulder of the guy with the white shirt in the distance

This has been an interesting picture and it enlarged nicely. The Ford wagon at far left must be red. IIRC, this is how a red showed up in black and white photos.

I see the backs of a 57 Chevy and I think a 61 Buick next to it, then the back of the Lincoln.
In the front row, a 57(58?) Plymouth between the 57 Ford and 58 Chevy and a 60 Chevy on the corner.
A 59 Mercury in the very left of the photo.
Over at VO's, the back of a white 61 Impala bubbletop.

FWIW, the Plymouth is a 58. The 57 had smaller, parking lights as the inside pair.

You're right but your spelling is a little off. Messerschmitt was forbidden to build aircraft after WWIi so the built a series of Kabinrollers(Cabin-scooters) the last of which was the KR500 which was introduced in 1955 and sold until 1964.

It is not known how many were squashed under the wheels of Unimog trucks.

    Wolseley: 11/55 & Wesp

I think Glider was particularly in Denmark - and may have been for Morris in Denmark as well as Austin - it was a reference to the then new Hydrolastic suspension

Fintail is indeterminant - it's a W110 so no older than 1961, but the midlife changes the cars received didn't occur until 1965. It appears to be a 190D with accessory bumper guards and optional white steering wheel.

60 Ford looks like a very basic model, which probably didn't encourage anyone to care for it.

If they're going to ask a small fortune for a tiny little car they ought to get the name right. (Zagato not Zegato).

I think the blue car is a Fiat 600

My parents' first car was an Austin 1300 that my dad imported into Poland when mom was pregnant with me. Since foreign cars were rare in 70s communist Poland, it turned heads in our town. They had it for a few years and my early memories was of dad always working on the car, fixing something.

I've got my doubts about the grey Fiat - its a 500 basically but the note on the photo which I lifted from Flickr said it was a Fiat 500 Zagato Cabriolet - but the plates on that car look like they are from Yugoslavia - so that would probably mean its some sort of Zastava.

The red one is of course a bit easier as it is an Abarth 1000 and probably extremely fast in the right hands - for a tiny Fiat based car...

i was going to say the blue-grey car isn't a Cabrio but if you look carefully you see the back of the roof is one of those roll-down jobs so it's a kind of poor man's "cabriolet" . The Abarth/Zagato combo produced several different models the most famous being the 750 "double bubble

50 Ford Country Squire. By the somewhat matte looking paint, and maybe a little corrosion (could just be dirt) low around the rear wheelarch, maybe not a brand new car when the pic was taken?

The Fairmont Futura did not have an emblem at the beltline on the basket handle, but the Zephyr did. This car has that emblem, so it's a Zephyr. The coveted Z-7 model. :D
