I'm guessing since I see the Chevy bowtie that it's a Lumina (based off the Holden previously mentioned) sold in the Middle East or somewhere. They already have what will be the U.S. G8 sold as the Chevy Impala IIRC too.
Yep, 2002 Chevrolet Lumina Coupe for the Mideast market (hence the camels in the background). The sedan version is sold as just the Lumina there, not Impala I believe.
Holden Monaro/Pontiac GTO/Vauxhall VX220. By the way, while the Monaro and GTO are very much related, the Vauxhall VX220 is related to the Lotus Elise.
Yes the famous "brick wall"! I might go look at that Montreal just for fun. I'm sure Bruce will give me that same line: "Are you EVER going to buy a car from me?"
To which I always reply: "Of course not".
Bruce is a great guy and a straight shooter. I really like and admire him.
RAMBLER AMERICAN: Oh, man, what a piece of...ahem....what a tinny little vehicle this is...I always remember how cheap they were--the labels for the instrument knobs are DECALS...and it has the advanced "flathead" engine first pioneered in about 1915. Coupled to a smooth machine-like column shifter with versatile 3-speed manual transmission, this baby can really fly.
Mostly it feels like you're driving something you made in your back yard.
I thought of Lancia, but the grille isn't exactly a Lancia style...close, though.
The car is SOOOO close to the style of the Jowett Farina Jupiter, but lacking the side the ridge on the fender and the addition of the side vents. But SOOOO close!

"Farina" is the magic word. The Jowett Farina Jupiter, like the 1947 Maserati A6G 2000/Farina is a near clone of Pininfarina's iconic Cisitalia 202, the car that set the pattern for the beautiful Gran Turismos of the 50s and 60s.
The Maserati A6C was produced with bodies from Vignale, Touring, Frua and Zagato as well as the rarer Farina body illustrated. I was sure one of you would mistake the A6G for a Cisitalia, as it's basically an elongated 202:
Cisitalia 202 (1947-49)>
The shorter Jowett Jupiter Farina is arguably even closer to the 1947 Cisitalia 202, I can't say I've ever seen one before but I'd definitely recognize it as a late 40s PF design.

Yep, I got my numbers wrong. I was referring to the Vauxhall version of the Monaro HSV/GTO. The correct moniker is "Vauxhall Monaro VXR8".
If I wasn't so lazy I'd have looked it up in an old issue of CAR.
The Chevy bowtie is just a flash of silver on my monitor
and I've got a pretty good one.

Out of the dozen or so noses that the previous-gen Commodore and its variants wore, the Pontiac GTO's was the ugliest by a wide margin.

Does it include Poutine?
LOL! Oui! For those who don't get the joke Poutine is a traditional dish of French Canada.

Fin's right, the car is a Lancia Fulvia HF, multiple winner of the WRC back in the 60s.
