Looks like a Gen III RX-7, but I don't think it is.

That's what it is, ca. 1998, at an Aussie race.

I swear I had Daihatsu in mind...

1645 looks a little like an Alfa Spyder but no V shaped grille, that horse ... Ferrari? Nah, can't be...

Here's a little help. A picture from another angle, showing the distinctive rear styling of this model=>image

    And I'll tell you there's a 3.3 liter V12 under that hood.

Ah the Ferrari must be some odd predecessor to the 275GTB

Isn't the Jeep thing just called a Station Wagon?

Ferrari 275GTS-Actually it was introed with the 275GTB at the Paris Show in 1964.
This was perhaps the last time a Ferrari Spider was sold with standard bodywork different from it's coupe counterpart. The 275GTS was mechanically identical to the
GTB, including the rear transaxle although the engine was slightly detuned to 260HP.

In 1967 10 275GTB/4 N.A.R.T. Spyders were built at the request of Ferrari importer
Liugi Chinetti which looked like GTB/4 coupes with the tops cut off although they were built as Spiders presumably by Scaglietti. AFAIK they all used the 300hp DOHC V12.
Thus Chinetti inadvertantly converted Ferrari to making Spiders based on the coupe body which has been the case for the last 38 years.

"Jeep Thing"- it's badged as a Willys Sportwagon, that one's a '62 with some modern wheels on it.

The GTO part is obvious but you're off on the year. Yours is a Mitsubishi 3000GT, which was also sold with slightly different bodywork as a Dodge Stealth (IIRC), ca. mid late 80s.

I was only off by one year on the Goat.

The Mitsubishi is also a GTO, the JDM twin-turbo AWD 4WS full hot dog version of the 3000GT. Built 1990-99.

Right, sorry to fuss with you but I owned a '70 GTO 'vert that was the same color as the pictured car, IIRC hidden headlights were only on '68 and '69 Goats as extra cost options.

Yep that's a Ford Capri, they were only badged as Mercurys in North America but the blue car in front is NOT a Lotus. Surely some one can ID it, they were once quite popular.

Here's a shot of a later version (note upright headlights)=>
