I don't know hat museum it was taken from but Brussels would be the logical place to have one. I hear the Schlumpff Collection is just out of this world.
You've got the right years Mag, but here in the USA Vixens were V8 powered. The car shown we know as the TVR 2500M uses the same 2.5 inline six as the TR-250/TR-6.
I drove one that my cousin owned, it may be the best handling car I've ever driven and it was a real rocket ship being quite a bit lighter than it's distant Triumph cousins.
The same car with a V8 or even the P.I. straight six from the TR-5 would have been really fast. If they hadn't been butt ugly I'd have wanted one badly.
I don't think there were any TVRs that weren't ugly.
Not sure on the Buicks. You're probably right. Super came to mind, but then they were slightly asymetrical IIRC.
Edit: The 56 Buick is a two-door Riviera Super. The Roadmaster didn't have any script on the side
The 57 Chev is the BelAir high line because of the flare between the chrome pieces on rear panel.
The Ford appears to be a Customline and a 53 or 54. It looks like a station wagon roof for some reason. I'll have to look at some other pictures to see why.
The 56 is not a Crown so I believe it's a Victoria because it's a hardtop... One of the beautiful cars.
The Buick in the middle of the shot is either a Roadmaster or a Century Riviera (ETA: 1956?). Is the Ford at the pumps a Crown Victoria?
The Buick hardtop is a '56 Super Riviera. The two-tone Ford H/T at pumps is a '56 Victoria, Crown Vics had a chromed B-post that wrappped around the roof.
The '57 Chevy has the chrome insert that indicates a Bel Air which could be a production mistake since the guys in it are Revenooers(T-Men) and cop Chevies then were usually 150s or 210s IIRC.
Not to drag out the point, but didn't some 57 Chevs have the Y-shaped chrome piece that were NOT BelAirs? I believe they had the Y without the anodized aluminum innard part that is striated. They were painted same as rear panel or were two-toned in a contrasting color, as ordered by customer/dealer.

I'm sure old enough (I first saw TR when I was eleven or twelve at a drive-in) but I don't think Atlantic Gas was around much where I lived (NYC area).
Funny thing is that Atlantic station looks exactly right to be one that I grew up near but it can't be that one. I remember it, though - with the big billboard ad right on the lot with the station.

The mirror reminds me of the one on my 74 Alfa Spider and the door lines and seats are right too - so that's my guess, and the gauges are obviously from a Ferrari....
The pedals.... no idea except to echo that Porsche has em on the floor.....
If you grew up in Asheville or Lake Lurie North Carolina, that could be your station.
Yeah, that's why it couldn't be. I grew up in Pompton Lakes, NJ. The station was in Wayne, NJ, right at the Pompton Falls. The building is still there but it's the overflow lot for a Kia dealer.

My girlfriend bought an '81 Civic GL.. I think the sticker was right around $6300... But, they wouldn't sell it for less than $6900!!
It was the first year of the new model... They told her she could add $600 in accessories... but, they only got a few of them, and they had to show a $6900 gross sales number...
I told her I wouldn't do it.... but, at least she got a good car..
I think the Civic is more like a 79 or so...the Chevy beside it appears to be a 55. Nice pair. If they are from the same seller, $8900 for a 79 Civic must make the Chevy worth about 50 grand :shades:

There's also an older Ford ('49-51) approaching one of the garage bays.
I believe the Chevy in the foreground is a '57 Bel Air, but it's a post sedan rather than a hardtop.

2014 Malibu 2LT, 2015 Cruze 2LT,
Can anyone confirm whether or not there were any Bel Air 2-door post sedans? I normally think "hardtop" when I think of the '57 Bel Air.
