The one on the right (as we are looking at the picture) is an Olds, I'm thinking about '63. I'm pretty sure about the second an third ones on the left, '63 and '57 Fords respectively. The one in front on the left looks like a Mercury Comet from about '62, but something makes me suspect that it is the short-lived mid-sized Mercury Meteor. I can't place the bronze one behind the '57 Ford as anything from that time period.

In such exalted company that Fiesta does look a little out of place. THe Aston is either a DB4 or early DB5, and is the Ferrari a 275? Not sure about the older stuff - the wide car behind the Ferrari reminds me of an Alvis, but could be loads of other cars, while the saloon above theBristol's steering wheel could be a Jag - perhaps the immediate pre or post war model (retrospectively called the MkIV).
I'll have a go at two - behind the bus on the far left is that a Corvair ?, and behind that is a 59 Chevrolet - but is it a sedan or something I've never seen like a pickup one - didn't they do a 59 ElCamino which was fitted with those oval lights and vestigial fins on the rear panel?
You know, my first thought was that the Ford might be a '66 but those had taillights that are similar but wider and more nearly square. I don't know if there was an LTD in '65.
I think the white car behind the bus is a full size '61 Chevy, it looks too big for a Corvair.
65 was first year for the LTD, and they are relatively uncommon. I don't know if a white vinyl top would be usually seen on a Galaxie HT, but was normal for the higher model.
I generally think the 66 Ford looks better than 65, the subtle curves helped.
Behind the '59 Chevy ElCamino and in front of the '63 Impala is a '65 Dodge Coronet. Also, I spy a '65 Ford wagon on the right (in front of what I would suspect is a '63 Chevy) and in front of the '65 Ford wagon I spy a '61 Buick!! And I guess nobody yet mentioned the ubiquitous VW KarmanGhia behind the '63 Impala....
I'll guess the last car is a '65 GM 4-dr hardtop, most likely a Chevy Impala, but the antenna should be up front... Explorerx4-you're right - it's a '64 Chevy now that I see the rear lights through the windows of the '65 GM. Also, in the distance I see a '65 Dodge full-size (Polara?) and a '64 Pontiac.
I agree with the 65 Impala. Some of them had the antenna(nae) on the back. You are correct on the city's being Chicago. I based the city as being Boston because of the Prudential Building and Boston's John McCormack.
I just can't let this one pass. I'll take the NEWEST - the brown '63 Impala on top of the '62 Ford and next to the '59 Oldsmobile and above the 2 '57 Chevys near the '63 Cadillac under the '60 Ford .......
Just to the right and above the '60 Ford is a '58 Chevy (Biscayne or 210) sitting atop a '60 Thunderbird..
In return, the '60 Bird is sitting on a red '60 Falcon. Lots of memories brought back. I had one that year and color. Eighty-five snorting horses and a two-speed Ford-o-matic. That car taught me to enjoy scenery (unless it was going uphill, in which case it taught me to enjoy a good book.)

Gee, these are getting hard, You must be working through every small coachbuilder in Turin who ever bent a Fiat to a different shape:
1961 Moretti 2500SS
Took me ages to search for it. I have not been able to find out a lot, beyond its origins which are off a Fiat 2300. Moretti was better known for variations on the Fiat 850
I found the following link; got to love the fashions of the early '60's
Somewhere I have a book of English kit cars of the 1960's. It is tempting to drag some of these (mostly very ugly) pictures out to see if I can exact revenge!
There are a couple here that you have not covered yet
Abarth, corso Marche Bertone, Corso Allamano Coriasco, via Salbertrand Moretti, Via Monginevro OSI, Via Agostino da Montefeltro Pininfarina, corso Trapani Pininfarina, Via Pininfarina Viotti, corso Stupinigi
If you can find an image of the OSI Ford Taunus, I'd love to seen it.
Yup, that's a '61 Moretti 250SS, essentially a re-bodied Fiat 2300 with an up-rated engine. It's true that not many were made but back in 1966 when I was attending law school in Washington DC I saw one being driven regularly.
This particular Moretti was light blue metallic and wore diplomatic plates. It belonged to someone in my apartment building and it was very good-looking.
I'll go with the Falcon's being a 62 because of the ends of the bumper and the verticals of the grille.
I think you're right. The front signals in the bumper give it away. So let me take another try. I think the car sitting on its back bumper just to the left of center is a '61 - '63 Rambler American.

Yup, it's the OSI Ford Taunus 20M from the late 60s that Graham was looking for. I must admit I'd never heard of it or OSI before and I haven't been able to find much on it.
The standard Taunus 20M was nothing special to look at>
Here's a charming bit of brochure art for the OSI version>

I'll also pick off the 65 Ford with the white top, which I assume is an LTD.

Anyone have any idea what the white 'foreigner' is in the lower right corner under the '59 Chevy wagon????
