Just picked up a Tiguan S last night! Even after paying for tint (300) and the Vw care thing (oil changes, etc, 500). We walked out with a 36/12 lease. No money down and a monthly payment of 282

    Congrats!

Didn't pay anything up front. Not even the first payment!

this also included splitting the difference for the damage to the Jetta that we turned in (Jetta lease would've been up in February, so they grounded it). It needed a new bumper, had a plug in the one tire, and a nice sing on the rear driver side door.

I should add that this dealership moved a lot of cars. They said we were the 21st car they moved for the day. Aka, they love to work with people even if they aren't making a killing

My sister has thought about a Tiguan, but I thought they would be out of her budget. Apparently, not.

How loaded is the Wolfsburg trim?

MF and RV for 2017 Tiguan S 4Motion in Omaha, NE? Also, is there a reason why Volkswagen's MF seems insanely low in all of the earlier posts on this thread?

    Insanely low compared to what?

My apologies. I was looking for 36 months, 12k miles.

And I guess I'm not entirely sure what I'm basing my "insanely low" off of, but just taking a look at a few of the other forums, the MF seems particularly low. For example, MF for something like a Crosstrek is listed on here as .00180. I'm new to leasing in general so maybe it's not as crazy as I'm thinking.

Actually, the Crosstrek is much higher than most of its competitors. But, Subaru has historically had higher MF than the cars they compete against.

Can you help me understand the sign then drive program? Does it affect the cap cost, money factor etc in anyway? Just having a hard time understanding the best way to negotiate the Tiguan lease since I haven't used a program like this before. It seems like the dealers don't negotiate much since they can just give you the advertised deal of $249. I think the deal can get much better though.....

Doesn't affect the lease numbers - it's a promotion where VW Credit makes the first payment for you.

You want to negotiate your best price, just like any lease or purchase. I agree that you should be able to beat the $249 advertised price.

Hi - I am total layman when it comes to leasing a vehicle. I was shopping around to get some good year end leasing options and found one dealer in Nj who is offering TIGUAN 2.0T WOLFSBURG EDITION for $229 with 10k miles per year. He said that there are other charges like taxes, registration etc which comes to $2499 initial payment. I was considering asking him to include all these in the original payment.

Would that be considered as a good deal? If not, can I go up to $250 a month including everything thing? What else do I need to consider when making a deal?

    Please advise.

Rolling in $2500 on a 36 month lease adds $70/mo. to the payment.

Yes, it adds up to $70 a month. But I am saying that I will bargain and see if he can offer it for $250 including everything. If not this number, please advise the best number to keep in mind before checking with the dealer.

I don't have sale price information. Just pointing out that your intended offer is $50/mo. or $1800 lower than what the dealership is advertising. That's a big difference. Your chances seem slim.

You were right Michaell. I didn't find much info on the prices paid for the Tiguan. I helped my sister lease a Tiguan S on Tuesday. She had the new grad $500 incentive and the Loyalty credit incentive $1000. MSRP $26,215, included the winter mats and road side assistance kit. Her payment is $220 inclusive of all taxes and fees for 3/12k. This girl s the sign then drive program so no money down and Volkswagen covers the first payment. I still think there was a little more wiggle room but can't complain. Think it was a solid deal! Thanks for the help.

Could I get the MF and residual for a 36 month, 10k miles lease on a Tiguan S 4Motion and a Tiguan Wolfsburg 4Motion in Omaha, NE?

How would a credit score of 650-660 affect the MF? Additionally, do you know of any college graduate offers for the Tiguan?

    .00015 MF
    S: 59% residual. $700 lease cash
WB: 57% residual. $2400 lease cash

    B-tier adds .00030
    C-tier adds .00110

But, I don't know what the score cutoffs are.

    Thank you.

The best I was able to negotiate for a 2017 Tiguan S with rubber floor mats, cargo blocks, etc. was
    Gross Capitalized Cost $25344.05
capitalized cost reduction of $1292.42 (which is the $1000 loyalty rebate plus the first month's payment of $292.42)
    Adjusted capitalized cost is $24051.63.
Residual value is 15446.20 from an MSRP of $26180.
Depreciation and Amortized amounts = $8605.43.
    Rent Charge = 1279.09
    Total base payments = $9884.52.
My lease term is 36 months,
payments are 274.57 including the inception fee rolled in and adding tax = 292.42.

Inception fee is rolled into payment:
    acquisition fee of $625,
    sales tax of $172.98,
Pvt tag agcy fee of 20,
    tire/battery fee of 6.50,
    dealer service fee of $699,
Fl fees for motor vehicle of $182,
    rental surcharge of 60,
    elect filing fee of $199.95.

Inception fee total $2257.85 rolled into the payment above.

The money factor I was able to negotiate was .00092 or 2.208% with a 59% residual.
The price of the vehicle was barely over 22000, though it's hard to tell from the way they laid everything out. At least for me.
    My credit scores were: 723, 716, 696.

    They told me 5 tiers: A+, A, B, C, D. A+ 740+ A 700 Not sure if true or not.

I get a payment within a couple dollars of that quote. Have you worked with a second VW dealer? The competition between them would be good for you.

.00001 MF and 63%/62% residual for 24 months.
    Subtract 7% for 36 months
    $1500 lease cash

The 36 month lease will be much less.

    Same numbers for AWD.

Hello - been following this thread for a while now and found it extremely helpful. Thank you!

Can someone please provide this months MF and Residual for a Tiguan Wolfsburg FWD and AWD at 12K and 15K miles? Credit would be A+ tier for the MF and lease term would be 36 months.

Available lease cash would be helpful too.

Thanks in advance for your help :)

Thank Michael! Do you happen to know why the residual is so low this month? Last month the I read the residual for a Wolfsburg 36/12 was 56% and this month its looking like 51%.

    Any insight would be helpful.
