Hello - been following this thread for a while now and found it extremely helpful. Thank you!
Can someone please provide this months MF and Residual for a Tiguan Wolfsburg FWD and AWD at 12K and 15K miles? Credit would be A+ tier for the MF and lease term would be 36 months.
Available lease cash would be helpful too.
Thanks in advance for your help
36/15 - .00001 and 49%. $3750 lease cash.
Add 2% for 12K
Both FWD and AWD have the same numbers, this month.
Thank Michael! Do you happen to know why the residual is so low this month? Last month the I read the residual for a Wolfsburg 36/12 was 56% and this month its looking like 51%.
Any insight would be helpful.
No clue - marketing and finance folks fighting it out, I suppose.
Can you please provide the MF and residual for a 2017Tiguan Sport 4-motion for Colorado? My credit score is 757 and I currently have a lease on 2014 GTI that matures in April. I was contacted by a local dealer regarding a lease pull through program and I'm not sure what other incentives are currently available. Thanks in advance!!

I get the same payment, with those numbers.
Looks like a great payment, relative to MSRP.
Thank you for the feedback Michaell! I can't seem to get my number to match up perfectly, but I'm probably just a little off with plugging everything in to the calculator.
They did start much higher, but it still seemed too easy to get to this point. It makes me wonder, is there still some room there somewhere?

Hey kyfdx,
Thanks! It's 36/12
You should already have it in your driveway.
Where is your general location?
Just messaged you regarding location
You're probably right! At this point I think the main thing holding me back is the redesigned 2018 Tiguan. I believe it's going to be available in the next few months? Any idea how good the rates, residuals, lease cash, etc. are now compared to what is typically seen with this car? Or compared to when newly redesigned models debut?

The MF is as good as it's ever going to get, and the residual is likely to go down when the new model arrives.
Following up with a little more detail on my earlier inquiry. Looking for February information on Wolfsburg and S4Motion for a 36m/10K in Seattle. Thanks!

2017 Tiguan Sport 36mo/12k lease in Colorado-They are dealing on Tiguans right now!
Hey guys using the info from this forum I was able to negotiate the following on a Tiguan Sport model on Jan 31st. I really wanted the Sport model for the power seats, leather upholstery, 18" wheels and the Xenon lights. It comes with NAV too which I don't really need since I have my iphone connected via-Car-Play. I got the Reflex Silver with Black Leather interior. I worked with Al Serra VW here in Colorado Springs but got competing quotes from a couple of dealers in Denver as well as a Price Promise offer from Edmunds.
Negotiated sales price $29,977 sales price off $36,090 MSRP
Included the following options, Power Front seats & mirror upgrade $610.00 Rear view mirror w/ homelink $325.00 Monster mats w/trunk liner + cargo blocks $235.00 Roadside assistance kit $85.00
Used the $1k VW Loyalty rebate with $0 security deposit
Traded in my 2104 GTI with two remaining lease payments of $257.66 and a residual of 14,715. I didn't have to pay the disposition fee of $350 and the 30k service was due which I put off since I only had 28,8xx miles on the car which saved $200-$300. I calculated $15,563 trade in value here on Edmunds. They gave me $16,450 for my car which gave me $1,255 equity in my GTI.
I put down $1,500 in drive off costs which covered first payment, taxes, etc.
Total cap reduction of $3,343.61
January Lease Numbers 36mo 12k miles .00001 MF 51% residual = $18,405.90
Monthly payment is $251.95 including taxes which is $5.71 less than my old GTI monthly payment. I could have probably been a bit more aggressive but I think I got a pretty fair deal. They are clearly wanting to move these out before the new model hits showrooms later this year. I really wanted an Alltrack SEL but the numbers weren't great and I couldn't pass up this deal.

Good Morning, Can you send over lease numbers for a 2017 Tiguan S in the Philadelphia area? Is there a 7,500 miles/year option? Any lease cash? Is that able to be combined with $1k VW loyalty? Thanks!

Either the MF is marked up or the cap cost is incorrect.
Thank you so much. We are out to do battle this week!
Don't think of it as a battle. Be polite and honest and stick to your guns regarding price and other numbers. Some very great deals out there on the Tiguan. Read back through the last page or two of this discussion to see.

Darn you're right. Looks like they marked up MF to .0004. Unfortunately I signed the lease today. With top tier credit, I'm a bit disappointed that they did that. Also disappointed that I didn't catch it. I'm thinking about calling them tomorrow and addressing it with them. Hoping that the Customer Satisfaction survey might give me some leverage to have them fix it but we'll see. $307 is acceptable but $289 sounds a lot better.

That's almost $650. Perhaps you can negotiate service credit or some parts to make up the difference.
Not sure they can rewrite the contract, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I emailed the Sales Manager and was pleasantly surprised by his reply...he claimed that their system didn't update with the Tier 1 rate (.00001) before my paperwork went over to the Finance Department. I'm not really buying that excuse since we discussed Tier 1 pricing from the start, but regardless, he is having me come back in to redo the contract with the .00001 MF instead of the marked up .000427. So thank you Michaell for catching it and helping!

Sorry forgot to ask for 36/12 and 36/10.
And does the lease cash come off the list price?
Thanks,
Ron
Lease cash is a VW-to-dealer incentive. Use your knowledge of it to negotiate a lower selling price.

They did start much higher, but it still seemed too easy to get to this point. It makes me wonder, is there still some room there somewhere?

Included the following options,
Power Front seats & mirror upgrade $610.00
Rear view mirror w/ homelink $325.00
Monster mats w/trunk liner + cargo blocks $235.00
Roadside assistance kit $85.00
Used the $1k VW Loyalty rebate with $0 security deposit
Traded in my 2104 GTI with two remaining lease payments of $257.66 and a residual of 14,715.
I didn't have to pay the disposition fee of $350 and the 30k service was due which I put off since I only had 28,8xx miles on the car which saved $200-$300.
I calculated $15,563 trade in value here on Edmunds.
They gave me $16,450 for my car which gave me $1,255 equity in my GTI.
I put down $1,500 in drive off costs which covered first payment, taxes, etc.
Total cap reduction of $3,343.61
January Lease Numbers
36mo 12k miles
.00001 MF
51% residual = $18,405.90
Monthly payment is $251.95 including taxes which is $5.71 less than my old GTI monthly payment.
I could have probably been a bit more aggressive but I think I got a pretty fair deal.
They are clearly wanting to move these out before the new model hits showrooms later this year.
I really wanted an Alltrack SEL but the numbers weren't great and I couldn't pass up this deal.
Thanks to Michaell and kyfdx for the help!
$250/mo is a great payment on a $36,000 vehicle.

Either the MF is marked up or the cap cost is incorrect.

Excellent news! Glad the dealer was accommodating and will rewrite the contract.
