2017 Volkswagen Jetta Lease Deals and Prices

Hey guys,

I bought my GLI back in November, at the time was a very good deal and I would like to share to help others get great deals. I leased a 2017 GLI Automatic, and I must say that I love the car, and now being with it for a little over 4 months, I must say going up to the GLI is worth every penny, and when you do your insurance it counts as a normal Jetta, so no extra SPORTs car cost such as the GTI. I bought the car here in PA.

Acquisition date: 11/2016
MSRP: $30135.00
Negotiated price: $24717.74
Lease terms: 36m/10k
Money down: Not a penny (I drove off without leaving a single cent at the dealer, a real drive off lease)
• 1st payment – after 30 days
• Acquisition fee in the lease
• Registration costs included in the lease
MF - .00020 (November)
Residual – 60% (November)
Monthly payment $229.34

My tip on getting a good deal, read all the insights given within these forums, shop around, use the Internet to your advantage, ask all the dealers in a 50 mile radius for quotes, because this way you will find out which dealer has more negotiation power, only one other dealer got close to this deal and it was $20 more a month. (not that close)

Having the information about the incentives, residual, and MF was essential to get a good deal.

I get $223/mo plus tax for this one, too.

This is a better deal as it's a better equipped car.

As a followup, I ended up with a decent deal. A little over what I was wanting (of course) but in the ballpark, and certainly better than the lease I left -- lesson learned before learning about this site and others.

$264.57/mo (tax included as I have to pay it up front), which seems to be near what others are seeing.

Less than 1% of MSRP and I got a little back as the trade-in on my previous car was a little more than the payoff. I'll take it! Thanks for the good advice.

Could I get some help regarding a Jetta 1.8 Sport I'm looking at leasing.

On the paper they give me they have a line saying adjusted residual listed at 11,562.50.

Quoting 309/mo . That is me trading in my GTI which I owe 19,800 and they are giving me 18,500 for it.

That $1400 negative equity will add about $40/mo to the payment - $282/mo before tax.

Monthly payments of $265 with $500 down for 12K Jetta SE
I asked about any incentives from VW they said there are none , but I see $1150 lease cash on the forum bad deal?

 So MSRP of $18,895, negotiated sales price of $15,379, and then a monthly payment excluding tax of $152, with this number including the $625 acquisition fee, document fee and license/registration fee. Zero down. 

 Is this offer nuts?

The lease cash is a dealer incentive. Use that knowledge to incorporate it into your offer.

You should be able to get loyalty cash over and above Edmunds TMV.
