That discount may indicate a 3rd party lease - we don't have those numbers.

Thank you, kyfdx. I just received a very high quote of $599 mth (including 7% sales tax) for an SRT 392 with an MSRP of $54,375 $3000 paid at signing for a 36/10 lease. He gave me the same money factor as you but actually said residual was 60%. His calculation should have been closer to $499 based on my calculation (with about $3500 off MSRP) but he would not budge. Is anyone getting any better quotes (very few SRTs with options and color that I want).

Yeah, I got the residuals wrong... .added the wrong numbers to the wrong term.

24/10 residual is 65%
36/10 residual is 60%

Using $50875 as the CAP cost, I get $518/mo.+tax.

Thanks for the corrected figures kyfdx. Did you use any part of my 3000 paid at signing as cap cost reduction?  I figure 1200 should cover first month plus fees leaving 1800 for cap cost reduction. Using that and a residual of 32,625 (54,375 x 60%) I get 457 plus tax of 32 for a total of $489 per month for 36/10. Am I making a mistake?

It varies from month to month (and model by model), but figure .00200 - .00275

Our recommendation is that you roll the taxes into the payment - if the car is stolen or totaled during the lease, you think the state will refund you the pre-paid taxes you didn't use?

There is one that has the hk upgrade and convince group but the boring wheels and no decals. This msrps at 46,765 with a 44,662 sales price and 48,994 total after fees and taxes. 36/12 $1,000 out of pocket $445/mo. This was negotiated down from $490/mo. Residual 66% and .0015 mf. 

Can I do better?  

The other car car is a shaker scat pack with dynamic pkg and nav. I don't have the exact number s but msrp is 48,300 ish and $1,000 down $458/mo.

I show standard MF and 66% for 36/12 on the R/T Scat Pack.

Using your supplied MF of .00150, along with your prices, I get $497/mo plus tax

Given that we don't have a selling price on the second car, I can't help you with a payment.

What state and tax rate is this?

Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost of both cars.

You are right, this was pre conquest. That was another $1000 off I believe to get me to $465. Then overnight they got me to $445 but I don't know how. I think under invoice is how. I'm just not sure this is a good deal or great or average?  

They have a hellcat sitting there, I wonder how I can negotiate that car.

Asking the dealer for the adjusted cap should address any pricing issues.

With the Demon soon to be released, Hellcats have become almost reasonable to lease. At least, the lease numbers look OK.

Again, can't help you with pricing.

Looking at leasing a Go Green 2017 Challenger R/T. In Cincinnati Ohio. Top of the lease worksheet calls it a "SCT Plus"? MSRP $35380, price $34175. Residual (.61) $21581.80. Taxes $1229.23, doc fee $299 MF .00215. Discounts of $6250 and $0 down. 12,000 miles per year. I have a 700 credit rating according to dealership.

Couple questions.
1. Is this a good price? Is the residual and MF accurate? From what I could tell, the only option was the $1000 wheel package. Had base radio, cloth, and no back up camera, or it wasn't active?
2. They are giving me a $362.72/mo payment offer which includes the tax and fee.

Seems a little high to me just running their numbers through the online calculator here. What should I go back with? On the dodge website it says $341/mo without any dealer discounts taken into consideration. I know that would still need roughly $45 added to it for the taxes/fees. But seeing as the dealership is giving an extra $4700 on top of the incentives that Dodge has on the payment calculator page, I would expect a much lower payment. What am I missing from the dodge price with only $1500 in rebates, to the actual dealer price?

Those numbers look like a third party lease (Ally or US Bank) - we don't have their numbers to confirm what the dealer is telling you. Those banks often associate large incentives to offset the high MF that is used.

Not sure I understand all the math in the lease. If the car sale price is $34,000 and there is $6250 in rebates and residual is $21,500, that is only leaving like $6500 to lease over 3 years. That is no where near a $360/mo payment.

The Chrysler Capital numbers won't have the rebates attached to them, but the MF and residual may result in a similar payment.

With your existing quote, the .00215 MF is adding a lot to the payment.

Only sheet they showed me.

I have used a bunch of calculators online. Some have sales tax lines in them, some ask for zip. I have been using the one at bankrate.com. He actually told me on the phone just now, "I have never heard of that site..." Ok I am sure he has never googled or been asked about different lease numbers than his own. He also asked if I was using the 6250 as a DP or a cap reduction. I told him politely, it does not really matter. Talking a couple benjamins total in tax is all.

I told them I want zero due at signing. So I guess they could still be playing games and going to drop more on me if I actually agreed to their price.

Now he told me to call other dealerships and get their lease price on a similar car.

If you work at a dealership, I can come get a car from you. Not too picky on what mfg.
