Can i get Octobers money factor and residual for a 2017 XF Prestige AWD in Seattle

    36 months /10k miles

I saw via Autobyle (please see image attached) that there is 10k in dealer cash and 11k in bonus cash?

Does that sound right? Thats 21k in incentives

    49% and .00012

Those look like purchase incentives, and not valid for a lease transaction.

However, we do not have any Jaguar incentive info ourselves.

Do you know if its possible to buy down the MF? I saw on some other posts that people where able to get a MF of .00001 for the same vehicle

I'm not aware of an MSD program for Jaguar.

And, the .00001 MF may be for other trims and terms.

Wondering what the XF-S 33/10 39/10 awd look like for NOV Thanks!

    RWD or AWD?

May I make a suggestion? Instead of asking for a bunch of numbers, go and take some test drives. A good lease deal isn't all that good if you don't like the car you end up with.

Example - a couple weeks ago I went with a friend to test drive some Land Rovers. He was specifically interested in the Velar diesel. He test drove it, and wasn't impressed with the power (the Velar diesel is the 4-cyl).

Then he test drove the Discovery diesel. 3 row SUV, much bigger than he needs (he is single), but this one has the 6-cyl diesel. Night and day difference! He was really smitten by that package.

It wouldn't have mattered if the Velar was half the price of the Disco, he much preferred the bigger engine.

It'd be AWD and I'm shopping for 2 friends, myself and my little brother so my requests only stem from what they ask me. My nearest Jag dealer is an hour and some change so I was just trying to get ahead of myself. Sorry for the bother.
  • Hi guys, can you advise on an XF S RWD, 33/10 39/10? I'm looking at a demo with 2.8k miles on it so I'm trying to asses the what the diminished residual ends up being. Thanks!

    .00001 and 48% / 45%

Another hint - higher trim levels frequently have lower residuals. If you're looking for a good deal, get a lower trim level and option it up, if possible.

  • Hello,

    Does this deal make sense:

    2017 XF 35t Rsport AWD
    36mos/10k

    68511 MSRP
    53475 selling price
638/mo with NYC 8.875% taxes rolled in
2118 out of pocket (1st month, acquisition, dmv, doc fee)

I think it was .0002 MF (Looks like it's marked up?) and 46% residual.

What should be my negotiation strategy at this point, if any ?

    Thanks!!

46% is the correct residual, but the base MF is .00001

Tell the dealer you won't sign any deal with a marked up MF

Second, ask for the adjusted cap cost used for their quote.

Third, we recommend that you add the acquisition and doc fee to the cap cost, as well.

I'm not sure which one is the adjusted cap cost as the deal sheets are always so cryptic to me, but here's what it says:

    Capitalization:
    MSRP $68,511
    Discount $15,036
    Selling Price $53475
Aftermarkets $199   (VIN etching which I'll have them remove)
    Cap Fees $71.06
    Cap Taxes $2085.85
    Gross Cap Cost $53,745.06

    Cap Cost Reduction:
Customer Cash $2,118 (this is total out of pocket also, including doc, acq fee, dmv, 1st month)
    Total Rebates $1,500
    Amt Applied Upfront $2,200.88
    Total Cap Reduction $1,417.12
    Net Cap Cost $54,413.79

Is the Net Cap Cost my adjusted cap cost ?  What should the numbers be for this selling price ?

    Thanks again!!

I get the same payment they do.. Using .00001 as the money factor.

NET CAP should = Adjusted CAP

The Gross CAP is wrong... that should be the selling price + the 3 items listed afterwards.
But, the final numbers are correct.

  • Hi, I received a lease quote of $493.7 (inclusive of taxes, registration, acquisition fee, dealer fee) per month with no money down on a 39 month and 10k miles for a 2017 XF with MSRP of around 63k. Is this worth pursuing?

    What trim?
    What state?
    What selling price?
How much is due from you at signing? ($0 down is not the same as $0 out of pocket)

On the surface, it looks good, but without the details it's hard to know for sure.

  • Hi Michaell,
Thanks for getting back. This is in New Jersey. It's a 35t Premium AWD with cold weather and vision package.
I haven't received the selling price and MF details yet. At the time of signing I would be just be paying the first month's payment.

    49% and .00015 for 39/10

Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost, if you're rolling in the taxes and fees. Jaguar dealers are famous for marking up the MF, so with all the prices we can figure out how honest that deal is.
