I get $635/mo with those numbers.

Confirm the adjusted cap cost - if different than the sale price, find out what's been added.

Would be good to also get a full breakdown of the $2500 due at signing.

Just looked at a 2017 GX460 for the first time. Never have leased a vehicle before, but got quoted $861/month on a Premium (9700A) trim for 36 months and 12,000 miles. Granted we didn't negotiate, i just asked for some basic numbers, but it just seem higher than I expected. Here are number I was quoted.

MSRP: $59,682
Sale Price: 56,786
Residual: 38,793
Due at signing: $1,057 (1st monthly payment and "fees and insurance")

I can tell that the residual is 65%, but what is the money factor? Does $861 seem a little high?

.00190 is the base MF. Look at the posts above yours and you'll see that your quote is pretty high.

What state is this?

Depends on the score ... they range from .00160 (Tier 1) to .00610 (Tier 7)

Yes, add 2% to the 12K residual cited for 7500 miles per year.

Each dealer should use the same numbers, though the dealer reserves the right to mark up the MF for a bit of extra profit.

The math is correct.

Have you considered rolling everything but the first payment and non-taxable government fees into the lease? Will reduce your up front costs, at the expense of a higher payment.

Hi Michael,  I did consider that but was comfortable paying the $2250 in taxes. If I rolled in the taxes I thought I would be paying interest on taxed money. Is there a reason why you mentioned rolling the taxes in? I also thought the residual would have been 67% since it was 7500k miles/yr but the dealer said it was 65%.

For the same reason that you don't make a big Cap Cost reduction. Money paid upfront is at risk, if the lease ends early due to accident or theft.
It's not likely that the state will reimburse you any of the sales tax, if that happens. But, if you finance the sales tax, it's been paid and GAP insurance will take care of any payoff shortfall.

Yes, you'll pay finance charges on that amount, though.
