Using your numbers, I get $550/mo.+tax.

But, Illinois collects tax upfront, so ask them for the actual adjusted CAP cost, with everything included. (acquisition fee, etc). That should clear it up.

Looks like Lexus sweetened the deal slightly with the MF to offset the lower residual. My calculations have the payment almost a push to slightly better than when I use the June numbers.

No difference by region. 58% is the 36/15 residual. Add 2% for 12K/yr

That's the way it's listed on the documents. Your dealer didn't note the extra 2%.

What lease term and how many miles per year is this quote for?

We recommend you add the dealer fees to the monthly payment and not pay them up front.

Ask the dealer what the adjusted cap cost is, and how they got to that number from the $55K selling price.

MF is marked up.

I cannot arrive at the quoted payment. Using $61,488 as the MSRP, $54,684 as the cap cost, 61% residual and .00095 MF, I get a final payment of $600 - on the nose - with 6.25% sales tax.

MF bump is costing you almost $40/mo.

With those prices, I get $817/mo.

Dealer may be marking up the MF for extra profit.

Tell them, politely, that you won't sign a deal with the MF marked up. They know what the base rate is.

I keep getting numbers more like:

TTL down: $536 monthly


Thoughts on where the disconnect might be?

I received word the acquisition fee is $795; there are two lines for fees... both say fees and insurance. One is for $150, the other is for $203. He now has it at $576.62 monthly with $3,667 down. Says total cap cost of $54,406 after the down payment reduction.

The $3000 is not compatible with the lease program.

$795 acquisition fee plus your local DMV fees

You can lower the MF by using MSDs, but I don't have Lexus program, though I think it's 9 X .00008 per deposit, which would take you down to the minimum money factor.
