For Mazda, it's a consumer rebate.
Should be separate from loyalty incentives, assuming your loyalty incentive is applicable to a lease.

Hi! I went to the dealership tonight to try and work a lease deal for a 2017 Mazda CX-5 awd Grand Select for zip code 01801(Boston area) with 33/10. This forum said the RV is 59%, but the dealership said it was only 56%. Is there any advantage to the dealership giving a lower RV?
Also, are these numbers correct from the dealership at 33/10...

33/10 is 59% for GS AWD; 56% is for 36/10 or 33/15 - confirm the lease term and mileage associated with this quote.

How much total is due at signing for this quote?

The dealership had 36 on the scratch paper, but I told him I want 33/10, not 36/10. I'm guessing he didn't change the RV when working the numbers. Also though, I don't think his math(aside from wrong RV) is right, or he added stuff back in to get to $335.
The only money I was factoring into achieving the actual lease payment was sale price(28515), minus rebates(2260), minus my $1000 down, plus acq($595), plus MF, plus tax(6.5%). The other fees(doc, reg, etc.) were about $900. I was going to pay cash separately for and not roll them into the lease payment. So out of pocket like $1900 plus 1st months payment.
I'm going to a different dealership later today.

Tax on a lease payment is calculated monthly in MA.

We recommend keeping the up front money to a minimum - first payment and RMV costs only. Add everything else into the lease payment.

The number you want from the dealer is the adjusted cap cost - selling price (which should include the lease cash) plus any taxes and fees you are rolling in

Either $1830 or $1470 lease cash, depending on where in PA you live.
Lease sales tax in PA is an extra 3%, so 9% tax, total.

$4000 discount, plus rebates/incentives seems optimistic.

How you apply your trade equity doesn't really matter. You can use part of the equity to pay the upfronts, then use the rest as CAP reduction. Or you can add everything to the CAP cost, then apply all of the equity to the CAP. It all adds up the same. If you don't want to put up any cash, outside of the trade equity, you don't have to, but then you'll have to account for first payment, $595 acquisition fee and DMV/dealer fees in your calculation.

Nothing seems right about that.
Check the residual and MSRP again. The residual should be a whole percentage of the MSRP. Just the manufacturer's MSRP, not including any dealer add-ons. The residual is a fixed amount, and cannot be altered by the dealer. Maybe the higher residual is for a shorter term (33 vs. 36 months)?
What term and mileage?

It is a 2017. They quote a monthly payment of 353 with Mazda loyalty. $367 without ( $0 down).but have said they can get down to $345. I just don’t know that it’s the best price...

I did1 I ended up getting it for $311 a month with my trade in which took another almost $1000 off the price!
