I can lease a 2011 G37x sedan in either December or January. I wanted to know if there's any trend in pricing, promotions or lease parameters (MF, residual value, etc) that would normally make it more advantageous to lease in December or January, or there's no way to tell. In other words: do pricing and lease factors usually improve after the holidays, get worse, or there's no clear trend?
hey im thinking of leasing a 2011 g37 coupe. ive never leased before and it seems as though you guys know your stuff. The aweful salesman said to get the payment around 420, i would have to put 6k total out of pocket. This seems ridiculous. I have great credit and am wondering what you all think is fair. Not to mention i hated this guy and i don twant him to make $1.thanks
If you hate this guy and don't want him to make a buck then go someplace where you are happy. He's probably not your biggest fan either so why extend the pain for both of you? There is plenty of great info here if you dig around enough...Good luck.
BTW, I hope you don't make a dime when you go to work tomorrow either.

I agreed.. It is completelly irrational to stick with a dealer/salesman that you hate so much. There are plenty of dealer around (and if you are in one of those place with only one dealership, you can always buy it from LA area and shipped the car back.. It will add 800-1000 but it may save you money after all)...
Hi baires. Typically manufacturers and dealers offer the best deals of the year during December in an effort to pump up their annual sales totals. If I was in the market for a new vehicle and had the option of getting it in either December or January, I definitely would go with the former over the latter.

I think the numbers he is quoting you are way off. If you do want to continue working with him, ask for the break down of numbers i.e. Money factor, MSRP, Cap Cost, Residual and another other costs. A good starting point with negotiations is to get a number from truecar . com. Any negotiation is going to start at the highest point possible, they just want you to work your way down. Don't be afraid to tell them you are getting information and seeing numbers off the web. From what I understand the x coupe has a really good MF and residual right now, but inventory nationally is very low. So unless you really need the AWD you just might want to consider not limiting your options. Also, go with a 39 month lease term, the 3 extra months will save you about $5 to $10 a month (go figure :confuse: ) I live in South FL and there are 6 dealerships local to me and I shopped them all and when it was all said and done I got the best deal from a dealership 120 miles away (delivery was free) and did most all the negotiation over email and the phone.
Got Blue Slate/Stone G37 Journey Sedan with Premium and Navigator for $0 down, $391+tax=$431.11 monthly, 39 months, 10K. Used VPP discount (A plan). San Jose,CA area. Great experience with internet manager - highly recommending.
I live in New York State and about 30 days ago I drove to Massachusetts and leased an Infiniti from a dealer there and I put down 9 Multiple Security Deposits. The following week they drove the car out to me and I met them at the DMV where they registered it, etc.
Today I get a call telling me the agreement I signed is not valid because I live in NYS and I used MSDs. Is this true??? I thought if you lived in NY and went outside the state you could do the MSDs?? Please give me some information, I need immediate help. Thanks in advance!
I read that the Infiniti VPP program is giving all levels "A" pricing through the end of the year...that said, are there any employees out there who aren't going to use all of their "friends" claim codes this year? Feel free to message me to discuss it. Tis' the season to give
I'm interested in leasing a G37 Coupe Journey Prem w/ or w/o Nav.
I went to my local Infiniti dealership yesterday. We discussed the G37 w/o Nav. The MSRP on the vehicle was 41,800. During negotiations I explained to the salesman that the TMV on the car was 36,910. He said he could get the sales price close to 36k but not on a lease. He said sales price is dif on a lease. I know this is inaccurate, but I proceeded with the negotiations.
Here's the breakdown: $39,800 sales price 1250 down +$1000 trade Res 59% MF .0133 39 mos 12k/yr monthly payment $494.58
Is this a good deal?
Can you provide the following information? 2010 G37Coupe Journey Prem w/Nav MF/Residuals 36mos 12k miles MF/Residuals 39mos 12k miles 2010 G37 Coupe Journe Prem w/o Nav MF/Residuals 36mos 12k miles MF/Residuals 39 mos 12k miles
Current incentives from Infiniti total $2750 for the month of December, which is the same discount employees get. There are dealers that are offering $2750 below invoice. If you go to ZAG.com and are willing to get something out of state, you can find great deals. For example, the 3 dealers in the Atlanta area are offering $2500 below invoice right off the bat at ZAG.com. Infiniti South of Atlanta emailed me to offer me "employee discount" on all their cars in stock. I'm in New York and I was ready to take a trip to Georgia to get a great deal, but a local dealer offer me $2750 below invoice up front without any hassles. I got a 2011 G37x Sedan with Premium, Navigation, and Sport packages with only taxes and fees up front (around $2600) for $381 a month.
Hi keshmoney. It would be much easier for me to evaluate this deal if you were to provide us with its full MSRP and selling price first. These are very important numbers to know when leasing. The selling prices of leased vehicles are negotiable, just as if you were paying cash for or financing them. Without these numbers, it is difficult to tell how large a discount you are being given on your car, and in turn if there is any room left to negotiate.

Thanks for the heads up...The deals in atlanta are really good...makes me wish i was closer (or willing to drive it back cross country) I'm considering a lease, so IDK if the Zag prices quoted are still valid. in the past i've heard that certain manufacturer to dealer/customer incentives weren't allowed on leases. Anyone have any info regarding that?
Car_man, Can you advise if this is a god deal please.
G37 sport with premium nav and wood accent. 12k miles 39 months $479 per month 1st month payment upfront. Nothing else due at signing. 38 payments to follow. MSRP $42,675 Selling price $38,080 62% residual
MSRP is $41890, sell price on lease is $37994.46 plus tax, money factor is .00179 39 months, 15K residual is 61% of MSRP or $25552.90. $898.38 total due on delivery $525 per month.
I finally found someone interested in giving me a vpp claim code! I'm all set with my code...now To decide which to get...such a great savings I'm really excited. Does anyone know about how leasing works with the vpp program? All I've seen in the standard answer in the FAQ section? If it's the same as purchase prices I'm looking at getting a g25x with msrp of 35825 for about 31000.
I have about 6 months left on my 2008 G35XS lease. I may order a G37S (RWD). There are very few in inventory in my region, even in the summer. Does anyone know if Infiniti allows you to choose from the lease and incentive programs in effect when you order and the ones when you take delivery (as I understand BMW does) or do you take the gamble as to what the programs will be when you take delivery? Any information is appreciated.
Hi, I would appreciate some feedback on the following deal for a 2100 G37X with premium and sport packages. MSRP $40,995. Sale price $37,100 (we are trying to get this down by about $1,000 based on TMV info) 39 month lease, Residual 61%, Money factor .00199. Trade of $1200 plus add'l $2500 down (of which $995 will go to cap cost the rest to bank fee, first month payment, doc fee, registration fee etc.)
MSRP: $44990 Invoice: $40985 Selling Price: $39450 (this is less $1000 cash back and $500 dealership incentive... i maybe able to get more... can someone confirm?) Months: 39 Residual: 61% Money factor: .00164 Miles: 12K Sales Tax: .08775
All said and done... $450/month for 39months... Out of pocket: 1st month plus doc/dmv fees ... $450 + $394 + $200
I would like to know all the incentives for this car... much appreciated. I feel like there is still a bit of room to... about $25/mo more...
I am in Boston area too. I have been hunting for new leases for past two weeks and this website helped me a lot. I finally signed my lease yesterday. Here are the details:
Infiniti G37X AWD with Navigation and premium packages.
Cash due at signing: refundable security deposit: $3600 First month payment: $325 Title Fees: $75 Registration Fees: $75 Doc Fee: $289 Title prep: $5 ----------------------------------------------- Total Out of pocket: $4443.8
Lease payment: $325.00 per month
I have $395 disposition fee at the end of the lease if I don't purchase the vehicle.
Hey carman, I was wondering what incentives were currently available for the (2011) g25x and the g37x. I see that you already have them nicely listed for the g37 journey. It will be a lease for both choices.
I am going through the VPP program and have been told that i am getting a discount on the invoice price.
2011 G37 Coupe Journey Premium NAV Interior accents Performance . I am in TX .
MSRP: 44720 Price : 39879
I will get the details today on other numbers but was wondering whether this is a good price. I have seen people get very good deals on sedans but haven't seen too many for coupes. Seems like going VPP i should not worry about getting a higher price but wasn't sure.
Hey ares1819. Infiniti Financial Services' December buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 G25 with 15,000 miles per year are .00177 and 61%, respectively.
Infiniti is currently providing a $1,000 bonus cash incentive on leases of this car.

Hi mskhanis. This is Infiniti's December lease program for the G37 Sedan. If you are leasing with identical trim level, term, and mileage allowance then yes the numbers should be the same.

I bought a G37x last week at Pepe in White Plains and got a great deal. They are blowing the cars out so they can be the #1 dealer in the country. Go see Steve Goldberg, he's a great guy. Here's my deal:
Left them my 2008 G35x with 4 payments of $453. They took the car back and are giving me a check for $1812, which is my remaining payment balance.
Long time reader, first time poster. I am thinking about pulling the trigger on a lease of a 2011 Infiniti G37x with premium, navigation, wood and tire packages. MSRP $42,990
Lease 39 months, 10,000 miles a year Selling price $38,662 tax here is 6.5% (Ohio) Residual is 64%, money factor .00179 (not sure if this is before or after msd’s)
38 months at $395 per month and I decided to put down MDS’s of $4,000 to make a total out of pocket at inception of $5,028 which includes the MSD’s, 1st month payment ($395), bank fee $595 and doc and license fees. I was told the bank fee couldn’t be rolled into the lease or the MSD’s would go up by $50 each.
I've been following the Infiniti posts for a while. It seems like the deals are getting a lot better as we get closer to the end of the year.
Which dealership are working with? I've talked to both Infiniti of Bedford and Airport. It seems like Bedford has better quotes - Although I'm still trying to decide between the G37x and G25x.
