Not sure if this is a great deal, but I was happy with it.
I leased the G37x Sedan all wheel drive with the premium pkg. Sticker says $40,040, but my contract says $36,515. My payments are $380/mo for 39 months, 10K miles (I am sure he would have gone to 12K poss 15K but I didn't need it so I didn't fight for it). Out of pocket, a total of $2,217 which includes taxes- $1,303, 1st payment - $380, reg fee, cap cost reduction - $200 + ccr tax - $18, doc fee - $75, & ny tire fee $12.50 and DMV - $227. I wasn't transferring plates, so my DMV charges were more than usual. My sales guy was super nice at Infiniti of Manhasset, Northern Blvd, Manhasset, NY. He might be slightly neg. $5/mo or so. I am not sure if this is a great price or not, but I was happy with it AND it's a beautiful car with 328 horsepower! You can get the G25, less horsepower for $330 wiith same money down, but you might not be happy with the pickup. :D

That is a fantastic deal. The one thing I question is the MSD's If your payment is $390 shouldn't the MSD's be $400?

Not sure. I thought the MSDs were set at $450 each. Do you have anymore information on that?
  • kingpcgeekkingpcgeek Member Posts: 1,051
MSD's are supposed to be the pretax payment rounded up to nearest $50. Maybe they are based on the payment if no MSD's were applied?

I'm not positive on this. I thought they were always set at $450. The dealer said 9 MSDs at $450 each. Each one reduces the money factor by 0.0001.

Would this still be the case if they were only $400 each? That would be even better for me.
  • kyfdxkyfdx Moderator Posts: 267,255
The MSDs should be the total payment (including tax), rounded up to the next $50 increment...

If $390 is your actual payment after the MSD money factor reduction, then each security deposit should be $400..

But, if your payment is $390 + $30 tax = $420, then each SD is $450.

Some dealers get this wrong... if they check with BMWFS, they should be able to clear it up..

    regards,

    Hello Mr. Car_Man

I would appreciate if you can post the November Money Factor and Residual for a
2010 G37 Coupe Journey with Premium and Sport Package, 36 months and 12,000 miles per year in South Florida.

Could you please also confirm if Infiniti is still providing the $2K marketing support to dealers on the G37?

    Thanks very much,

Hello geckosz. Infiniti Financial Services' new November buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a base 2010 G37 Sedan with 15,000 miles per year are .00052 and 57%, respectively.

The numbers for an otherwise identical lease of a 2011 G37 Sedan Journey are .00165 and 61%.

I'd be happy to help you out, cesar_miami.

Infiniti Financial Services' New November buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2010 G37 Coupe Journey with 12,000 mies per year are .00096 and 60%, respectively.

Only $1,000 of the $2,000 cash incentive that Infiniti was providing on the 2010 G37 Coupe was compatible with its special lease program. I haven't heard whether this incentive has changed for November, but I can make some calls to find out for you.

I certainly can, jenonry2. Infiniti Financial Services' November buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2010 G37X Sedan with 15,000 miles per year are .00076 and 56%, respectively.

The last time that I checked, Infiniti was providing a $1,000 dealer cash incentive on the '10 G37 Sedan, but this cash was not compatible with its special lease program.

Carman, please post rates for subject vehicle.

Also, should I be shooting for invoice when I negotiate this?
  • CarMan@EdmundsCarMan@Edmunds Member Posts: 38,514
No problem, cesar_miami. It looks as though the $1,000 is still available on the 2010 G37 Coupe. Having said that, I know that dealers were able to earn a bunch of $500 dealer cash certificates last month that they can apply towards deals in November. You may be able to finagle one out of a dealer if you drive a hard bargain.

Hi dez1985. I haven't looked into Infiniti Financial Services' MSD program in a while, but the last time that I checked it allowed lessees to make up to nine additional deposits, with each one lowering their money factor by .00010.

    Good Morning,

I need some help. I am signing a deal tonight on a car. They are telling me the MF is .00126 with a residual of 57% on a 39 month lease with 15000 miles. Is this correct? I think I am getting a good deal on the price. It's msrp is 43,535. I am getting it for 38,500 and they are giving me the 1000 conquest money. My payment ends up around 456.54 with TAX.

    Thanks for your help,

    Jeff
  • CarMan@EdmundsCarMan@Edmunds Member Posts: 38,514
You're very welcome, dap2006. Infiniti used to boost its 15,000 mile per year residual values by 1% for 12k leases, but I think that it recently boosted that to 2%.

The money factors for both mileage allowances are the same.

Hi Jeff. The money factor and residual value that you were quoted are pretty close to correct. The residual is spot on and IFS buy rate for this car is .00110.

    Car_man,

Could you please provide the following for a 2010 G37x w/ premium package 12K lease

    1. MF
    2. Residual
    3. Invoice
    4. Factory to dealer incentives

Also, if I were to upgrade to the navigation package, should I expect to have to pay for that entire $1800 during the lease, or would I only have to pay a part of that because the value of the car will be more at lease end? One last question, would you expect the deals to be better in December than they are right now? Thanks so much for your help. I have overpaid for cars in the past and don't want to make the same mistake again.

FYI, as I'm in the market for a 2011 G37 w/ Premium/Nav/Sport/ and possibly the accent packages (or the Limited? maybe... :confuse: ) I'm keeping a close eye on the sales. USAA car buying service with that build is showing it going for $600 under invoice in AZ. :surprise:

I plan to take advantage of the "conquest cash" and pull the trigger soon, probably by year end - it's all coming together.... :shades:

Speaking of which, I like the Smokey Quartz best but it seems like there are very few to be had - anyone seen one? (AZ, SCal)
  • jenonry2jenonry2 Member Posts: 23
Thanks, are they doing a 39 month lease? If so what are the residual and money factor for that with 12k miles? I am close to pulling the trigger on this but want to make sure I am getting the correct number from the dealer. Edmunds shows the $1000 conqest cash but also shows $1000 dealer cash, just not sure if that extra $1000 applies to the lease. The dealer is telling me it does not.

    2010 G37x with navigation package
    MSRP $41,475
    Price: $38,621

Should I be able to get better than that. Thanks again for the help?

I am looking at getting either a 2010 or 2011 G37X Coupe with auto, premium, navigation and tech packages. I can get the 2010 for $40k. I would like to know what the money factor and residual would be for either a 2010 or a 2011 for both a 24 month and 39 month lease, 12k miles per year with no money down.

    Hi All,

I'm seeing a lot of posts with lease info for the G37. Can someone provide money factor and residual for a 36 month lease on a G35 sedan?

Also, is invoice pricing info. available for this car?

    Thank you!

Trying to get Nov money factor & residual on 36 mos / 12k miles per year as well as invoice amounts for that model if possible... thanks

To help give you some type of direction, I just leased a 2010 G37 coupe for 39 months with 15k miles per year and had Prem, Tech, Nav, Wood accents, Tire & wheel package, Splash guards, Cargo mat, net and 1st aid kit. I would have to double check the MSRP and Cap numbers but the bottom line is i'm at $428 per month including 7% Florida tax and that was with $800 paid at dealership for 1st month and new tags.

You are going with X trim so I would think the MF and Residual would be higher (best deals almost with most highest selling models and trims). I based a good deal of negotiating off the figures from True Car.
  • danmgy11danmgy11 Member Posts: 111
Is this for 2010 or 2011? This is a huge determining factor.

What I can tell you from my shopping experience, if this is for a 2010 then this is NOT a good deal at all. Also, ask them to price it out for 39 months. For some weird reason IFS gives much better rates on 39 months than 36. When I compared numbers it was almost a $10 or $15 a month difference.
  • CarMan@EdmundsCarMan@Edmunds Member Posts: 38,514
    I'd be happy to, scuba10.

Infiniti Financial Services' November buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2010 G37X Premium with 12,000 miles per year are .00076 and 58%, respectively.

Infiniti is currently providing a $1,000 cash incentive on leases of this car through IFS.

You can look up its dealer invoice price over in the New Vehicle Pricing section of this site.

Factory-installed navigation should be able to be residualized, so you wouldn't have to pay for its full cost over the course of your lease.

I expect Infiniti's December lease program to be fairly similar to its current program, but no one knows or certain what it will be like at this point.
