Hi tlb5. The G37 Convertible is the only 2010 model that Infiniti still has a special lease program on. IFS' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a base 2010 G37 Convertible with 15,000 miles per year are .00156 and 58%, respectively.

Your target capitalized cost seems reasonable to me.

I'm glad that you've found this discussion so helpful, ballerchild. Here's the info that you're looking for.

Infiniti Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 G37 Coupe Sport with 15,000 miles per year are .00138 and 64%, respectively.

Infiniti is currently providing a $1,000 loyalty cash incentive on leases of this car.

    Car_man,

do they have posted MF's/residual values on 10,000 miles per year leases too or is the lease support specific to 15k/year?

do you know if infiniti loyalty cash would be available in addition to the $3500 incentives out there (i'm about to end a current infiniti lease)? - to borrow an expression i've seen you use - just trying to get all the meat off the bone.

    Car_man,

Can I get a Feb lease rate for 2011 G37X Coupe?
    12k/yr
    15k/yr
    36months and 39months

    Are there any incentives??

    Thank you!

    Hi Car_man

I just got a quote from one of the dealer in North Jersey

    G37X Coupe AWD Prem/NAV

    MSRP: $45320
    Sale Price: $42350

    39 Months 12k/yr
    Residual: 66%
    MF: .00152

    Monthly - $508 (7% tax included)
    Monthly - $468 (Tax upfront)

Do you think it's a fair deal? I just calculated the lease by myself and got
$458 including tax... where did this $50 came from? Plus how is the sale price on this car?
  • g37x1g37x1 Member Posts: 2
I am familiar with this company and they will be where I lease my next infiniti. Their deal is legit no money down 329 per month if you want 12K per year it is $11 buck more making offer $340 per month plus sales tax. In my state being MA tax rate is 6.25% making this deal at 12k per year 361 per month.

I haven't negotiated sale price, money factor, buy-out yet but they are much cheaper than any Infiniti dealership. This was a premium option G37X.

Hi. I saw your post. A little over a week ago I had gotten a price from Peppi Infiniti. At that time they were offering me for a 2011 sedan with navigation a price of $339 plus $1900 down - out the door price (all taxes, mv fees). I am challenged to figure the lease rates, etc., but nobody was willing to meet their price. I ended up getting a genesis, which was more suitable for my needs, but I thought I would pass this onto you just in case you haven't closed your deal. I dealt with Anthony. - Can't do the calculations but just in case you figured it was a good deal you might want to check with them. They will send you everything over the phone so you would not get any surprises when you got there. Enjoy your Infiniti!

Could I get the residual and money factor for a G37x sedan for:

    36 month 12k miles
    36 month 10k miles
    24 month 12k miles

    Thanks!

Can a dealer just increase the lease factor? I was at a dealer today who claimed that he had the freedom to increase the Infiniti Financial lease factor from .00125 to .00145! I have top credit and btw the dealer did not even run my credit before adding that on.

As I understand, the dealer simply sells the car to Infiniti Financial who then lease it to me. How then does the dealer have any discretion over the financing rate?

Dealers can bump the money factor for extra profit on the deal.. The bank rebates them a portion of the extra payment..

Amazingly enough, your dealer admitted it..

It's a negotiation.. If they don't want to negotiate that portion of the lease, you have the same options, as if they wouldn't negotiate the price.

    Thanks kyfdx.

It was not as much they admitted as I caught them doing it. I took my laptop along with a spreadsheet on it and simply plugged in their numbers and caught the discrepancy. I told them that their financing cost was off, they brought out the lease sheet and it had the same .00125 factor that I was using. It is then that the sales guy claimed that their finance department bumps up the lease factor by .002 because they are allowed to do so.

Pretty amazing that the manufacturer would facilitate such fraud by the dealership!

Btw, this last piece of deception is what I walked away from. Before this, they claimed the internet department sent a wrong quote and then that the sales manager was quoting a wrong car. Then the came back with a wrong lease factor. In between, they also claimed that the price of the car had gone up in January by comparing two cars that had different add-ons.

Voting with your feet...not a bad option..

The MF bump isn't limited to Infiniti.... almost all of the luxury makes allow it.. Finding a BMW dealer that doesn't do it, is like a needle in a haystack.

I know the first time you encounter it, is a big shock... You've done your research, know the lease parameters, have your spreadsheet ready, and whammo!

    Good luck to you!

    +1 for Pepe's

I just picked up a G37x with Prem/Nav from Pepe's yesterday. Their price was about $50/month less per month on the lease with no money down. I live in CT and the local dealer (Devan Infiniti) was horrible! Their service stunk and the price was well over what Pepe's was offering without even haggling with Pepe's at all. It was well worth the extra time to go to White Plains for me. I worked with their Internet Sales (Christine) to work out the price and then Ruck for the final sale. Both were great. I would highly recommend anyone in the area to check them out before signing somewhere else.

    Hi CarMan
I'm looking at a G37x - the MSRP is about 42600, and the negotiated price is $37300. The lease payment including taxes, tags, etc, with nothing down was $454. With 2K down, the payment was about $394.
Thoughts.....not sure if this seems right.

Well - my final numbers are a bit lower because I qualified for Infiniti's VPP program. If you work for a major company, check out insidenissan.com to see if your company qualifies.

That said, before I told them about that (which saved me even more money). For the G37x, 10K miles (I dont do a lot of driving), Premium, Nav - It was about $380/month, due at signing was 1st month/title/registration/doc fees which was roughly $1300 to drive off. I dont have all the breakdown for the money factor/etc, because I didnt get that until after I found out I had VPP, which wouldnt help you guys much.

Devan Infiniti, besides giving me horrible service when I walked in there, was offering over $440 with $1500 down ($3K due at signing) and wouldnt budge much lower than that.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi CarMan,

I am looking for the Feb lease offer from Infiniti for a G37 Journey for 24 months and 36/39 months (whatever the next longest period is).

I'd like to see the MF and resid for both 10k and 12k miles per year.

I didn't see these numbers posted for feb yet for the Journey.

    Thanks!

Well, I am getting my new infiniti at the end of this month details as follows with options and pricing:

    2011 Smokey Quartz G37X (AWD)
MSRP: $43,570 Cap Cost $38,756 Residual $27,115 total lease payments $17,980 (full cost)
Due at Signing total costs: $2,557 (I am paying 6.25% tax up front)
    Monthly Payment: $386 per month

12K per year 39 Month Lease
    7 speed Auto
    Premium Package
    NAV
Sport Package (upgraded wheels, brakes, ground effects/side moddings, paddle shifters)
Wood Accents (note you can't get wood grain w/Sport Package just the wheel package) - Dealer add on was only $250 I am hoping it looks ok.
    Infiniti Floor Mats

I think the monthly payment is pretty good with amount down. Not sure I got the best residual price if I want to buy car at end of lease, which I won't.

One question: What is the difference between adjusted cap reduction cost $38,756 vs. total cap reduction cost $39,756? I am confused it appears they are giving me a $1,000 credit for money due at signing.

I made my deal to pick up my new G37X from Passport Infiniti in Alexandria, VA on 2/28. I have a 2008 G35 with a lease expiring 6/20. I just made my 2/20 payment, and the final 3 will be waived. The specifics are as follows:

2011 G37X with premium, sport, nav, splash guards, trunk mat. 36 months, 15k per year.

    MSRP $43,390
    Invoice $39,783
    Gross Capitalized Cost: $37,645
    Returning Lessee Incentive: $1,000
    IFS Acquisition fee $595
    Dealer Processing Fee $395
    Net Cap Cost:$ $37,635
    Residual: $26,901.80 (62%)
Money Factor: .00035 (after 9 MSD)

    Money upfront:
    Refundable MSD: $3,150 ($350 x 9)
    First month payment: $349.60
    Tags/DMV: $207
    PA Tax: $93
    Total $3,800

    Monthly payment breakdown:
    Depreciation: $298.14
    Interest: $22.59
Pennsylvania Lease Tax: $28.87 (9% of base monthly payment)
    Total: $349.60

I am able to get into a car with an MSRP about $5k more than my 2008 (which does not have Navigation), and decrease my payment $72 per month. Although there will likely be a redesign of the car during the term of my lease, I am thrilled to be driving a $43,400 car for $350 per month with no cap cost reduction.

Passport Infiniti was very straightforward to work with. I identified a car in inventory, emailed them and asked them for the gross cap cost that they would use with the standard IFS money factor and acquisition fee, and for disclosure of their processing fee. They gave that to me and I ran the numbers and emailed them back, and, even though the original car was sold or dealer traded, they stayed with the same discount from invoice on the car I ended up getting.

Hopefully this helps somebody else get a good deal.

Just picked up my car last night, here was my deal at Beaverton Infiniti:

    2011 Black Obsidian G37x Coupe
    w/Premium, Splash guards, Kick plates
    Terms: 39 months, 12k/year

    Sticker: $44,188
Negotiated Cap Cost: $41,995 (including $595 acquisition fee)
    Residual Value: $29,076 (70%)
    MF: .002
    Monthly Payment $425

    Out of Pocket:
    $502 cap cost reduction
    $75 Doc fee
    $425 1st Monthly payment
$297 Oregon Titling, Registration Fees (4 years)
TOTAL OUT OF POCKET AT INCEPTION: $1,300

They wouldn't budget on the Money Factor, even with my 740+ credit rating, but I guess it's offset by the high residual value. Considering my out of pocket at inception was basically $1,000 (without titling and registration), I'm pretty happy with the deal.

Beaverton Infiniti is the only game in town, but I was able to negotiate over the phone with them and Kuni Lynnwood near Seattle. The Seattle dealership was willing to offer a pretty sweet deal on a fully-loaded G37x (my car plus nav) and they even said they'd deliver the car to me in the Portland area for no charge. In the end, Beaverton offered me the best deal on the car I wanted (I don't really need the nav), so I went with them.

    Hi Carman,

Thanks for helping everyone on here--fantastic resource.

I have seen a lot of Feb numbers, but not for the exact vehicle I am looking for, so I wanted to see if you can help arm me for the negotiation this weekend.

I am looking at a 2011 G37 Coupe Journey with Premium Package.

Looking for 24 or 36/39 months with 15K miles a year.

Also, I have seen you allude to lowering MF with an increased deposit. Can you speak to that a little bit?

    Thanks

Wow, there're many CPO 2008 coupes now with asking price only 26-28K.

I would be surprised if the real market value at lease end is anywhere close to the RV I got. But that $2k-3k probably lowered my lease payments between $60-80/month.

HA tlb5. I like your usage of my phrase. I get a royalty fee every time someone else uses it :).

IFS' published residual values are for leases with 15,000 miles per year, but one can lease an Infiniti with 12,000 or 10,000 miles per year. IFS' 12k residuals are 2% higher than its 15k resids. Its 10k resids are 3% higher than its 15k resids.

Only $2,500 of the $3,500 dealer cash is compatible with the special lease program. I don't believe that there is any loyalty cash on this model right now.

Hi vmfldis. Infiniti Financial Services' February buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 G37X Coupe with 15,000 miles per year are .00147 and 65%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 39 month lease are .00152 and 66%, respectively.

The residual values for a lease with only 12,000 miles per year are 2% higher.

You sure can, axjoke1. Infiniti Financial Services' February buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 G37X Sedan with 12,000 miles per year are .00125 and 64%, respectively.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 24 month lease are .00106 and 71%.

If you were to lease with only 10,000 miles per year, this car's residual values would be 1% higher.

Hi jonny19803. This car probably has a spread of around $3,200 between its full MSRP and its dealer invoice price. That puts the selling price that you were quoted at around $2,000 under invoice, which is an outstanding deal.

Just make sure that the dealer that you're working with used IFS' buy rate lease money factor to calculate your payment and you're in business.

Here's the information that you're looking for, avmba.

Infiniti Financial Services' February buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 24 month lease of a 2011 G37 Sedan Journey with 12,000 miles per year are .00092 and 70%, respectively.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 36 month lease are .00100 and 62%.

Thanks gregdole7. Please see my previous post for the numbers that you're looking for/ IFS' 15,000 mile pr year residual values are 2% lower than its 12,000 mile per year resids.

Like many luxury captive finance company, IFS allows lessees to make additional security deposits. Specifically, it allows up to nine additional deposits with each one reducing the vehicle's money factor by .00010.

Thanks for all your information Car Man,

I was hoping you can tell me the residuals for a g37s sedan 6mt? 24,36,39 (15k)

is there any incentives to apply towards a lease, I've never owned an infiniti. I am in Nor Cal.

    Thanks again!

    You're very welcome kurtz530.

Infiniti Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 24 month lease of a 2011 G37 Sedan with 15,000 miles per year are .00092 and 67%, respectively.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 36 month lease are .00100 and 59%.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 39 month lease are .00111 and 58%.

Other than owner loyalty cash, I don't believe that Infiniti is currently providing any cash incentives on leases of this car.

Just finished a deal for a G37X Smokey Quartz, premium package w/navi:

    MSRB: $42,070
    Gross Cap: $39,000
    Residual value: $26,924
    Money Factor: 0.00133
Nothing down except 1st monthly and fees ($1300)

    Base Monthly Payments: $397.30

First time lease w/Infiniti & I'm unsure of whether this was a good deal. From what I can tell, doesn't look like I got credit for doing 10k/miles vs. 12k/year.

I'm looking to exit my 15k mi./yr. 39 month 2010 G37x lease and one alternative to buying the car and turning around to sell it privately is paying the dealership to take it. It has 6,900 miles, black/black, & navigation and the current lease buyout (pre sales tax) is about $33,000. Sales tax in my state (MA) is 6.25%. Thank you!

The trade in value of the car is only around 31k. Since you want them to buyback the car and you are not buying another one from them I doubt you even get that amount.

    Hi Carman,

Do you have the March numbers on a Journey COUPE with for 15k a year on a 24 or 36 month lease?

    Thanks
  • bgleonardbgleonard Member Posts: 2
The dealership offered me $31,000 which I accepted and paid them a difference of $2100. A couple of weeks earlier I tried swapalease.com with positive responses from interested parties. But in the end, I did not want to transfer the lease (especially to a stranger) knowing that my name was to remain on it (as per IFS policy). Given my circumstances, I feel that I was given a great deal and would happily lease another Infiniti. Thanks for the numbers kingpcgeek and weakestlink.

I am looking for the same info... on the 2011 G37 Journey Coupe (w/ Premium Pkg)

What's March's money factor and residual for a 15k mi lease for 24 and 36 mos?

I really don't have much clue what I'm doing... but looking for this lease in NJ with a 7% sales tax, a TMV of $38,178, and putting $0 down. What should my monthly payment be?

Thanks Car_man, your knowledge on here is unmatched on any other site!
  • gregdole7gregdole7 Member Posts: 14
supraturbo--with 9MSDs and the Feb numbers you should be able to get that for about 325-350 a month.

I'm waiting to hear the march numbers from Carman to see how things are looking this month.

    I am very confused..
Should I lease G25 or G37? looks like the Residual Value on G37 is much higher...

    G25 Journey
    G25 x AWD
    G37 Journey
    G37 x AWD

Which model is the BEST to lease it? for 15K miles, 36 or 39 months lease?

    thank you so much!
  • infinitipaulinfinitipaul Member Posts: 2
The lease offer right now on 2010 models are $499/month+tax with $3500 due. 39 months. MSRP ~$48,500. I thought that that was a pretty good deal. Both Mercedes and BMW could not touch that price. Plus the BMW guy was a [non-permissible content removed].

    I just negotiated. $524/month+tax with $3509 due. 39 months. MSRP $53,886.

Soo.. I got 5400 worth of options for $25 per month or a total of $950.

I know that I didn't really answer your question about the 2011 model, but it is identical to 2010 and the price will be much much higher for the 2011.

Also... this is my second consecutive infiniti. They are good cars.

Forget the residual for a minute. It depends on whether or not you want a ton of options and most importantly how much power you want. There is a big difference between the G25-220hp and the G37-325hp. You need to drive them both.

Sales Tax is 6.25% in Texas. For the month of March, Infiniti is picking up the sales tax for a 1.25% fee to handle all the paperwork with the state - so you save 5%!! On a $40,000 vehicle you save $2000 or about $60 off your lease payment.

This applies on G37 sedan, G25 sedan, and M37 sedan (2011) in Texas.

    Hope this helps. :)
