All dealers, more accurately Infiniti Finance, offer no money down leases. You never seen them in advertising because they want to entice people with super low payments.
I leased a 2010 Coupe last November and didn't pay a dime at drive-off, not even first months payment. Everything was rolled into the lease including the bank fee ($700), doc fee ($400), tags ($700) and first months payment ($482 inc tax). There was $1000 lease cash that help offset some of the costs.
The key to negotiating a lease is just like buying, by the selling price of the car, not the payment. That is the best way to know you are getting the best deal.
BTW I love the look of the car, but the transmission is horrible. Its been to the dealer twice and they say they can do a thing about it. My wife's 09 G sedan which has the same transmission is much better. Hopefully the 11's and 12's are better.

When available, could you please provide the December lease rates for a 2012 g37 coupe journey with premium, nav, sport for the following? Also, are there any December incentives?
Also, which of these 3 (all things being equal) would be the most attractive lease in your opinion: 12 g37 coupe journey, 12 bmw 135i, or 12 lexus ct 200h. It'll be helpful to know the MF and residuals for the 135i and the ct 200h, but will post in its respective forums. If easier, you can pm me as well.
My 08 g35x lease will be ending in a week or so. I only have 13k miles on the car and was wondering what my best option is. Would purchasing the car be the best thing to do? Does Infiniti offer any deals for lease returns that come in under mileage?
I say this with all sincerity..STOP LEASING AND BUY A CAR....you are throwing out your money by leasing. I, too, put on low miles and therefore I would never lease. Unless of course money is not an issue but having a new car is..If that is the case...good for you.
If the car is in great shape...and the residual makes sense..then by all means by the car..It is virtually a new car with such low mileage.
Can anyone tell me if this is worth going for? Live in VA
39 months 12k miles/year

Hi, Im assuming this is for the sedan? If correct your negotiated price looks amazing. That %16 off MSRP, But the residual value seems way off, according to my numbers for the month of November your car should have a %59 residual value for a 15K/yr 36MO lease and once adjusted to 12K per year and 39MO lease you are looking at %58. Right now you are getting %54(That's %4 additional saving off your MSRP which translates to another $1700 off). So I would go over that number with the dealer first before you pull the trigger. And aslo I would try to cover the the fees and taxes with the trade in payment and prevent those fees being rolled into the lease itself and therefore accumulating interest. Other then that you are on the right track to enjoying your G. I know I am Good luck, let me know if you have any questions
This is an amazing deal, a saving of 16.7%, that being said the Invoice on this car with the same configuration is $40835 and with your negotiated price you've entered holdback land good luck
your negotiated price is definitely not a bad price although the invoice price on your car in in mid $42K. Try other dealers in your area and see if they match the offered price. The RV percentage and MF seem correct, although 60% of $46425 is $27855 instead of $27468((almost $400 difference), unless the quoted MSRP has the destination fee added to it and that would explain the discrepancy. But go over the RV amount with the dealer one more time just to be on the safe side. good luck
Looking at a 2012 G37x coupe w/ premium pkg in NY (we get a lot of snow up here!)
For this car, I'm showing the following:
MSRP: 45930 Invoice: 42006
Using one of the buying services (USAA), they are offering a buy price at 40,411! Sounds pretty good to me. I am aware of $1k factory-to-dealer money this month as well.
I'm leaning towards leasing the car. Using this board and another source, I'm showing a MF of 0.001 and residual of 64% on this car (12k mi, 39 mos). Using the USAA selling price and the above numbers, my payment comes out to right around $400 before any trade, etc.
I guess my question is this: how good of a "selling" price is the 40,411. Looks awesome to me without much effort, but is it reasonable to think I could negotiate this any lower? I'm not averse to shopping the deal around, but already being below invoice (and below the 1% holdback, by my calcuations) I'm not sure how much better I should expect to do.
Also, it would be great on this board if people deliniated clearly between the coupes and sedans. I get so excited on some of these deals ... until I realize it's a sedan. :-)
Assuming you want to get into another lease, trade in your 08 while leasing your new car. Make sure to get a quote from Carmax for your 08 and have the dealer match that price when trading in. I am sure you have equity in that car and should walk away with cash in your pocket. Make sure to have the dealership cut you a check for the equity and NOT apply it towards the lease.
Hi aap79. Infiniti Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 39-month lease of a 2012 G37X with 10,000 miles per year are .00088 and 60%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.
The numbers for an otherwise identical lease of a 2011 model are .00040 and 55%.
There's nothing wrong with going with a 39-month lease. I've done it myself numerous times in the past. doing so usually shaves a couple of bucks per month off of your vehicle's payment.
Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
Hi ton1220. Do you own the car that you are trading in outright? If so, you should have the dealer cut you a check for it rather than using the proceeds from it as a down payment for your lease. I always advise consumers against marking large down payments on leased vehicles. Those who make them risk losing part or all of the money that they put down if their vehicle is totaled in an accident or stolen and never recovered.
The money factor that you were quoted for this car looks good. The selling price that you were quoted looks good as well.
Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
The price seems very reasonable. To maybe save a few more bucks, I would recommend using a service to contact the dealers directly without guaranteed pricing e.g. Edmunds. Alternatively, go to each dealer's website, pick a car you are interested in, and ask them for their best price via email. Prepare to get bombarded with email and phone calls..I would recommend making up a new account for this and a Google voice phone number. It looks like the bottom line dealer cost is something like 39,239 for this car.
I thought it was a decent deal myself. Only one dealer (200 mi away!) is participating - submitted a request. They tried to call me tonight but I didn't catch them. I'll let you know how it goes.
BTW, how are you figuring your 39.2 as the bottom line? I'm calculating invoice (w/ destination) as 42,006. Holdback is 1% of MSRP = $445. Thus "true invoice" I'm thinking is $41561.
There is a $1k mfg-to-dealer incentive, but I am told that only applies to purchases and not leases.
Would love if you have any other info that might help me chip the price down even a little more!
Nevermind. Looked around for more numbers and - using Edmund's numbers - seems that you're right, dealer cost for the car should be right around 39.5.
So it's not a bad deal, but still leaving some room on the table. I'll email some more dealers tomorrow and see if I can get any offers below the buying service.
Thanks!
PS - according to edumunds, that $1k factory-to-dealer incentive should apply for BUY or LEASE. So again ... getting hogwash from a salesman ... real surprising ...
Please let me know your thoughts on whether this is good to pull the trigger.

Hello Carman. I am currently driving an 08 G35x whose lease is up in early January. What are the current December MF and residuals for a 2012 G37x 12k miles/yr, 36 months AND 39 month terms? Also, what kind of loyalty cash or other incentives are currently available to current Infiniti owners? Thanks.
I too have a 2008 G and I'm shopping for a 2012 g37 as well and have been told by multiple dealers that the only leasing incentive for current Infiniti owners is the $1000 loyalty cash.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 39-month lease are .00107 and 59%.

I have plugged the numbers into a lease spreadsheet but I cannot for the life of me get to the $518/month they are using. Truecar says similarly equiped is $38,249 haggle free, so I feel there is some wiggle room on the price. Thoughts on this? it seemed pretty attractive given the term. Thanks
couple of things I wanna point out that came to my mind and hopefully will answer your question about this lease offer.
1. The price you have negotiated is not a bad price but its not a great price either. The Invoice price for the same car is $40226. So try emailing a couple of different dealer & see if they'll match the offered price. 2. The $895 Freight fee, is a huge ripoff and I would recommend walking away from any dealership that is charging you the freight fee.(assuming this is not the destination fee. which I'm guessing is not judging from your post), That saving alone will take you to under invoice price range. 3. The monthly payment of $518 seems correct, just going strictly off your provided numbers I get $529.69/MO here in California with a tax rate of %8.75. Before tax it should be $487.07 anywhere in the country(Again doing the math using the numbers provided). 4. The MF looks amazing and translates to %1.512 APR which is a great number. 5. I would ask Car Man or a different dealer about the residual value of %68 just to be sure. To be honest with you I haven't seen the 24 month lease numbers so I don't know how accurate your dealer is. 6. Like you said the price is a little high and there is a little wiggle room. But if you can get the $38,249 the truecar price you mentioned your payment would be $378.70/MO before tax.
For the freight, the dealer basically indicated that when I originally requested a sport model (not too popular in the mid west apparently), they did not have one in stock and would have to order from another dealership which would be additional $. I never asked them to do this but they went ahead and got the car up here anyways, believe me I dont want to pay that either!
I thought the guy was wrong on the MF as well, only problem is I cannot locate the MF and residual for a 24 month lease anywhere online to verify, plus it appears favorible so I am not too worried.
Lastly I do not know if the Truecar price reflects the $1,500 in dealer incentives right now, so its hard to say if the $38,249 is the floor.
Usually the Truecar price includes all the incentives but alot of times Truecar fails to mentions which incentives are included in the calculating of the haggle free discount (which in my opinion is a shady way of calculating the discounts and shady business practice and leaves the consumer at the mercy of the dealers to deny or approve the use of incentives.) But again you never know your dealer might be desperate for a sale and match or beat the truecar price just so at the end of the month they can get an even bigger incentive and hold back from Infiniti itself. About the freight charge, I think your dealer had the car on order and was gonna receive it anyway and they were just using that excuse to charge you $895 extra. Think about it, dealers use different ploys to charge extra fees. Lets assume you don't get the car, do u think they'll be able to charge the next guy the $895 freight fee? NO. Also do you think the dealer would want an unpopular car in mid west(according to your dealer) on their lot with no customers to want it? NO.

Hi. I'm very interested in the deal you received and any advice on finding the best lease for a 2012 G37x with the premium, navigation and sport package. I have checked my 3 recent credit scores in advance and have a 771,760 and 767. I'm looking to purchase this month asap. I was referred by a friend to Legacy Infiniti on Sunrise highway and I live closer to the Infiniti of Manhattan. Planning on taking the first trip to a dealership this weekend. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Hi midnightvandal, Is the lease for 24 or 36 mo. and $1542 out of pocket is after or before tax? You can mention dealership name. This is allowed on this forum.

Selling price $ 36,997 + TTL
She likes to keep her cars for a while so I'm going to assume that she'll end up buying with one of the current promotional interest rates.

Good luck& Let me know how it goes
Thanks for the quick reply! very helpful.
Again thanks for your feedback
About the freight charge, I think your dealer had the car on order and was gonna receive it anyway and they were just using that excuse to charge you $895 extra. Think about it, dealers use different ploys to charge extra fees. Lets assume you don't get the car, do u think they'll be able to charge the next guy the $895 freight fee? NO. Also do you think the dealer would want an unpopular car in mid west(according to your dealer) on their lot with no customers to want it? NO.

I'd be interested in what kind of deal you get. I am considering the exact same car here in the midwest. Good luck shopping.
Is the lease for 24 or 36 mo. and $1542 out of pocket is after or before tax?
You can mention dealership name. This is allowed on this forum.
