Thanks kyfdx. They weren't keen on using that MF. They agreed that was the AFS MF, but told me that was the "buy rate" MF and that they have to mark it up to make a profit. They didn't tell me what they used, but they were about $80/mo more than the .00194 MF used on the deal. Not a big deal on grand scheme, but just curious how likely dealers will use the listed MF? It doesn't help that I am in a city with only one Audi dealer. Not sure if out-of-state leases are common in order to get in a competitive market. I may look more closely into buying as well.

Shouldn't be a problem going out of state to get the deal you want. They think there isn't any competition because they are the only game in town. You have to convince them otherwise.

Glad you think $2900 is "not a big deal" - it sure would be for me. If I were ever to shop in that price bracket.

just out of curiosity, how does the lease bonus factor into negotiations? For example if a car is MSRP 65000 and a typical negotiated price would be 61000 (about 6% off msrp), does that mean the lease bonus should take it down another 2000 to 59000 (about 9% off msrp)? Or is this dealer dependent?

The first scenario is correct - subtract the incentive from your best negotiated price.

I recently left my old job to start my own business. I was previously making $150k+ per year, but now my income is up and down because my business is in its beginning stages.

On the credit app, should I put that I'm still employed at my old job making $150k per year? I feel like if I do this, they won't stip me for POI because I was there for 3 years, have never missed a car payment, and my FICO is 750.
