We'd suggest rolling everything but the registration costs into the payment.

Yes, MF still matters on a one pay lease. You are still borrowing the money. Audi will charge interest to do so. However, on a one pay lease, the MF is reduced by .00060, so you get a bit of a break by paying everything up front.

You can also use MSDs to lower the MF, as well. That is a good investment.

1.) Even if we pay cash up front for the entire lease amount (negotiated price - depreciated price), we need to pay interest? So for simple math, if the car is discounted to $60k and the residual value is $30k, I cannot just pay $30k in cash up front and be done with payments on the lease?
2.) Do the residual values you've quoted assume Audi Care or would Audi Care increase the residual amount (I've heard it typically increases the residual value by an additional percent).

Look at this way.... the bank buys the car for $60K, and then rents it to you for three years. If you give them $30K upfront, where do they make their money? They are still out $30K net for the lease term. If you aren't paying any finance charges, they've lost income on $30K for three years.

To calculate a single pay lease, you use the reduced money factor, and calculate the lease as you normally would. Then multiply the resulting monthly payment by the term, and that's your total payment.

No... the residuals quoted do not assume AudiCare. If purchasing AudiCare, add 1%
