I have a 16 A6, 36/15K lease with AFS in NY (11716), with the turn in date as September 25 2017.

Looking to get into an A5 or S5 sportback 24/15K or 36/15K lease. Questions are:

MF, residual, incentives, and fair monthly payment with nothing down upfront

    and

if early turn in is a good idea

    thanks
Assuming your turn in date is really 9/25/18, you have too many payments left to get out of your lease without major penalties. Best to wait until your current lease is up before shopping for the next deal.
Thanks. I will take your advice and wait it out.

Thanks to everyone's advice on this forum. Instead of giving Audi money for taxes, I rolled everything into my payment and instead paid 2 additional payments on my Lexus. I actually saved some money this way. I got the following deal: MSRP $64,440.00 Sticker Price of the Vehicle Negotiated Price $58,950.00 Negotiated Amount of Vehicle before Incentives Base Cap Cost $56,450.00 Negotiated Amount of Vehicle after incentive Down Payment $0.00 Amount Paid at Lease Inception Amount owed on trade $2,500.00 Additions $1,787.50 Acquisition Fee, Dealer Doc, DMV, Tire Net Cap Cost $60,737.50 Net capitalized cost of vehicle (add taxes+fees, subtract cap cost reduction) Residual 61% Percentage of the MSRP that the vehicle is worth at the end of the lease Money Factor 0.00137 Used to calculate interest paid ("rent charge") during the lease term Interest rate 3.29% Money Factor x 2400 Lease Term 36 length of lease, in months Residual Amount $39,308.40 MSRP x residual % Depreciation $21,429.10 Total depreciation (Cap Cost-Residual Value) Dep Payment $595.25 Amount of payment for depreciation (cap cost-residual value)/term Rent Charge $137.06 Amount of payment for rent charge (cap cost + residual value)* money factor Pre-Tax Payment $732.32 Sum of depreciation and rent charge Sales Tax 6.875% Local sales tax rate Total Tax with Rebates $1,910.39 Estimate Tax Amount per month $53.07 Monthly payment * tax rate Total Payment $785.38 Monthly payment + tax amount
What percentage did U get off MSRP and at what dealer ?
  • Well my 2018 S5 Prestige coupe didn't arrive and is currently being held at the port for an airbag clip recall, hoping to have it this week.

Can you tell me the current MF and residual for a 36/7500 lease, I'm here in NorCal if that makes a difference...thanks!

  • Thanks for all the help on the forum! Trying to get a sense of a few different S5 options:

    Cab Prestige
    Coupe Prestige
SB Prestige (but I see the numbers right above this post)

    36/12

Does this car lease better at 39 months?

    Thanks again!

  • Do you have the Feb numbers for S5 SP, Prestige in Boston? 36/12. I'm trying to decide between an S5 and S4 and am looking for the better deal. From what I gather, the S4 is leasing 'better'. Thoughts?

    SP? Do you mean SportBack?

    .00190 MF and 59% residual.

If you could get the same discount on the SportBack as the S4, the programs aren't that far apart... but, that might not be likely

  • Yes, I meant SB. Thanks for the information and it's time to shop! I'm in no hurry, but I'm concerned about the MV & RVs changing. The MV of .00190 is not the best, but then the residual (60% with Audi care) somewhat makes up for it. I'm calculating about a $65 difference between an S4 and S5, assuming a 6% discount for both. And I don't think they (Audi dealers in Boston) have a problem moving S5s.
  • Can I please get numbers on the S5 sportsback premium plus and prestige? 36/15 in California. Thanks!

  • I'm looking at a 2018 S5 Sportback Prestige 36/15K in Texas.

Is .00190 and 57% (and 59% for 12K) corrrect? Are there any other regional incentives aside from the $1000 loyalty?

    Thanks!

ya the $1500 is for the drive off fees; not towards cap cost reduction. i'm in FL with a 7% tax on the payment; so that includes that. and it seems that they are marking up the MF a bit as well..

$1500 won't cover your first payment, $895 acquisition fee, DMV, and whatever massive dealer fee that your FL dealer charges. I think you'll find that the adjusted CAP cost is higher than you think.
