Hi Moderator,

I'm very interested in a Prestige 2018 Audi S5 Coupe, however the current MF/Residual combo has made the lease payment too expensive for my budget. I have been able to negotiate a good price ~ 8% off MSRP but the .00155 MF is greatly inflating my monthly payments (36/12k Lease)

Is it realistic to expect a much lower MF and more favorable Residual for the car around November/December time?

If the car is selling well, the lease variables they use will likely result in the same payment.
So, maybe a lower money factor, but a lower residual to offset it.

If they need to put incentives on the vehicle to boost sales, then they could lower the money factor or put on rebates. Of course, we have no idea if or when that might happen.

If it makes you feel better, my wife also wants a Porsche Macan that we cannot afford.

Make sure they promise to also pass along any incentives in effect at that time.
Ask them for a list of any fees you might have to pay.
In CA, the only fee other than government fees would be $895 acquisition and $80 doc fee.

MSRP of 61,175 (paint, cavo wheels, warm weather pkg), 6 % ACNA. Hoping the residual and MF changes make it a wash

Thank u.  Just double checking , so the s5 sportback premium plus residual is now lower then the coupe ?  Only asking because since its release it has been 2 pct pts better then the coupe. ( 64%). And the financing went up as well ( was 00179 in August , now 00188 )
