    Hi,

I had a quote, but looks like the buyout prices differed a bit. Not sure if you can get me the numbers for last month also but:

2018 Base STI w/ only autodim/compass mirror (no homelink)
    36/10k
    07109 New Jersey

    MF and RV?

Previously I believe i got quoted a 26k buyout, but looks like the RV is much different now.

Unless you signed a deal, the numbers from June won't apply.

Therefore, the numbers quoted above will be used for any quote you get from the dealer.

Thanks for reaching out Michael, looks like the numbers you gave were for "2018 STI base with Recaro seats and PP#1. 36/10, 36/12 and 42/12 in zip 53220"

Would this still apply to me with my options and purchasing/registering in 07109?

Also curious, do things like package number 3 (which adds push start and recaro) have any impact on the residual value and MF? I figured it was mostly trim level/months and mileage of lease that have an impact and packages like this are just added ontop and not factored when counting msrp.

    Subaru numbers are national.

Packages and options do not affect the lease numbers - just trim level, term and mileage.

Got it! So it looks like the MF went from 0.00175 to 0.00140, but the RV went from about 69-70% to 66%. My previous quote was 0.00175 MF 26,038 buyout (18 base sti with an msrp of 36955). Now the 66% RV brings that down to 24,390 buyout ($1648 more to add to my lease).

Does the 0.00035 difference make up for this? Looks like the lease quote we discussed will be more now with these numbers?

Wow, did not see that much of a difference coming for the 2nd month of the 2018.

Do you think we should expect an upward or downward trend in RV for August? The car I put a deposit on has been in transit since June and will be here end of July so i'm thinking of holding out til August. I asked if we could do the paper work but he said we wouldnt need to, this is not what I was hoping to hear.

You don't want to "negotiate" the MF - you simply tell them you won't sign a deal where the MF has been marked up. They know the base rate.

I read that we shouldn't negotiate the money factor but if we don't fall under tier 1 credit can they jack up the MF drastically?
    (hope I made some sense)

The dealer can mark up the MF for extra profit.

If you do not have tier 1 credit, the MF also goes up (but, the dealer can mark up that inflated figure as well)

If anyone can provide any feedback that would be great!

    2018 WRX Limited 6MT with nav. MSRP 35,500, Selling Price: 33,300, MF: .00130 , Residual: $21,655

    36mo/10k

    Drive off: $2,300
    Monthly: $400

Total of Drive off and Monthly: 16,716

Does anyone think this is a good deal? or should I try and negotiate lower to about 16k with total drive off and monthly

Total of Drive off and Monthly: 16,716

Does anyone think this is a good deal? or should I try and negotiate lower to about 16k with total drive off and monthly

I get $400/mo with those numbers.

What does the $2300 drive off consist of?

Every $1000 you can knock off the selling price will lower your payment about $28/mo.

security deposit? did you mean acquisition fee?

How much of that is down payment (aka cap reduction)?

OK, so $1400 in cap reduction.

Frankly, we suggest you skip that. If the car is totaled or stolen, that money is lost.

Granted, the payment will go up about $40/mo, but that's a trade-off I'd be willing to make.

Would you recommend giving money towards cap reduction?
(have a lot of questions, sorry)

Could I get the MF and residual for a Base WRX as well as a Premium model? 12k/36 and 12k/24 Zip 68133. Also, am I correct in that adding the performance package to the Premium won't increase the residual?

You don't want to lease for 24 months

    36/12 numbers
    Base - 62% and .00120
    Premium (6MT) - 58% and .00090

Correct, options and packages do not affect the above numbers

Looking for lease numbers on 2018 WRX Limited in mid-Atlantic (20815) 36 mos. 10K miles. Showing sale price of $31,548. I believe money factor is .00165 but need that confirmed. Can you confirm residual as well? I have tier 1 credit.

Will numbers shift tomorrow on 8/1? Thanks.

    CVT or stick shift?

Either way, MF is marked up from the numbers I have.

That info would help...stick shift? Thanks.

Suspect I may need to shop for a dealer that isn't jacking up the MF.
