    Now what to do with a dealer that won't provide a lease quote with complete information over email....this seems like ridiculous behavior but am I missing something?? I guess I should just bypass them for any of the other eight dealers around.

    Some dealers are still stuck in the pre-internet days, and use technology to simply say "C'mon down to the dealership!"

    Shop around - only takes one dealer to work with you and be transparent with the numbers.

    Please provide MF and RV for a 2018 WRX CVT 36/10k and 42/10k, my zip is 94588. Dealer is quoting $500/mo incl tax. Sale price $32,999 RV $21,682 and $0 down, but that seems to be way high.

    Is there such a thing like "Buy Money Factor" and " Retail Money Factor?"  Dealer says MF for 2018 WRX LTD CVT is 0.00085 Buy and 0.00135 Retail. Never heard of that.  Thanks.

    Sounds like less of a ripoff that way, right?

    .00085 is the base MF (sometimes known as the buy rate), and dealers are permitted to mark up the rate by .00050 maximum for extra profit. (sometimes known as the sell rate).

    That markup adds about $30/mo to your payment. So, around $1100 for the privilege of letting the dealer do the paperwork on your lease, which he has to do anyway, to lease you the vehicle. It's all cool, if you don't mind the dealer adding an $1100 fee to your deal.

    How much if any price discounting are folks seeing on 2018's? I've been in touch with a few dealers (one is no haggle pricing model), and everything seems confined to about $1000K discount. Some sites suggest there is little or no discounting going on for the new models so this seems good. Just want to see what others are experiencing. I am in athe mid-Atlantic (Maryland).

    There is no "normal", when it comes to lease numbers. Some months they change, sometimes they stay the same... But, we've had two new programs since June.
