I really don't worry about the legal issues. Are you planning on suing them?

The discount they offered might have included incentives that aren't compatible with a lease (Hyundai to dealer, not the ones they listed). Taking a purchase quote (and, this is just an ad, not a quote), and assuming it is valid with the lease program often doesn't work out.

I don't think it's worth suing them, but it seems very suspicious they won't tell me what cap cost they used in their calculations. They just keep saying they don't see how I got my numbers and asking to see my calculations, which I always provide, and then they don't answer back.. They have not said that my cap cost from the ad was incorrect, either, and the ad price was for purchase or lease.

Thanks for the input. This just seems very shady to me and I wanted to hear what others thought. As always, thank your for this forum. I'll come back in a few days to see if the July numbers are out yet.

"Be simple with your inquiry! Shop online. The more technical you get asking for info such as break down of the drive offs, MF and residual on multiple cars the less likely someone will respond to you. In their mind, it’s not worth the time and effort since clients who are that particular will usually go with the lowest priced quote only. If they know they are working for a dealership who’s objective is not strictly volume then those inquiries usually are ignored.

Drive the car, narrow down the model and trim, give them a total out of pocket you are willing to pay and ask for their best monthly payment. You’ll get far more responses going that route and you will be much more efficient finding the best deal. "

Purchase incentives are out, but not lease incentives. For New England, SEL Stand Alone Cash
(Retail Bonus Cash) stayed the same ($3,000) but the Sales Event Cash ($500) is NOT listed. Keeping fingers crossed that they upped the Lease Cash!

Thanks....ouch though...new MF makes it about $15 more per month for me. June APR for a lease in my area was 1.992%, now it has gone up to 5.184% (MF x 2,400 = APR)
