you probably had a crappy stereo in those cars. I have had it in the ELS stereo in a TL, mark levinson in an LS, and now my stock pioneer 13 speaker stereo in my IS. I love it.

Hey doug316 Would you say the stock IS pioneer system is comparable to the ELS and the Mark levinson in the LS that you were talking about? I had a infiniti fx35 (bose) and i have also heard the systems in the sc430 and ls430 and they are really nice, if the stock IS system is comparable ill def stop worrying about not getting the mark levinson, thanks.

hey, i thought i'd let you know i managed to get a discount out of sewell. IS 250, nav with prem. MSRP was $36,504. Not as big of a discount as some of you are quoting but i managed to get them down to $35,000!

I was glad to have found this site. From all the postings, I was able to leverage, order and pick up my new IS250 at an excellent price (AT/Tungsten/black/navi/prem plus) $33.500 + tx/lic. Got it in 3 days. Thanks to everyone who provided all the useful info!

That's the car and price that I'm looking for in Northern VA, Maryland or North Carolina. Anyone having success finding discounts of $2,500+ in these areas on IS350 with sport&nav? I've also noticed that the southern region has inventory on the sport with nav&Levinson . . . anyone getting a discount on that package?

Just put a deposit on an IS 250 with 18" rims, premium package (heated/ventilated seats and wood trim), accessory package and window tints. Got it for $2700 under MSRP or $1522 over invoice. I can't wait till it arrives in a few weeks. I just wanted to thank everyone who has posted, they have helped me a lot. Maybe this will help someone else.

Had my local dealer find me an IS350, Black, Ivory interior, Premuium package (found one in FL). Sticker $38,700. Got only $400 off. These cars can not be found, plus they are not making them anymore without NAV (which really boosts the price into the $40's.

My dealership was honest and up front and I did get two perks; free car washes and a spoiler at dealer invoice price. I'll take it.

Ok, i've been reading these posts for a long time and finally decided to make the leap. Is this a good deal:

the 250 AWD with luxury package and nav
36 months, 12K miles a year
$0 down
$800 in drive off (first month's payment plus reg fees)
$549 a month, including 8.25% sales tax

They may have to get the car as I'm in SoCal and they say the AWD isn't readily available but I'm wondering if I'm getting smoke up my you-know-what. I don't know what the residual or money factor is but I do know I have superb credit (although they didn't even check it).

I told them I won't pay more than $525 a month and I gave them till tomorrow at 10 am to let me know if they accept my offer. Any suggestions?

The 250 is navi with premium package, not luxury package. For that price, I got it from Stevens Creek Lexus in SJ.

I have done a ton of research and here's the best deal I have found in the Bay Area.

Lexus in Modesto is quoting 5% over invoice on the IS350 if you go through the AAA or Costco auto purchase program. I called Putnam Lexus in Redwood City and they have a similar deal. 2000 over invoice on the 350 and 1700 (I think) on the 250. I talked them down to match 5% on the 350 which was a bit more savings in my case.

Invoice is "dealer invoice" which is the same you will find on edmunds, costco, except for they add the toyota dealer advertising (TDA) fee which was 443 in my case. If you want to negotiate this out, make sure you negotiate a purchase price rather than % above invoice or at least bring this fee up before you agree on a number.

So my IS350 PT FT NV, mats was MSRP $40,784. This is invoice 35,568 + TDA 443 = 36,111, + 5% = $37,917. So this is $2,867 off MSRP (or $1,806 over invoice) taking TDA into account, with zero hassle.

$3,333 minus MSRP, but with the TDA of $443 added back in,.

Very minimal hassle. Other dealers participate but have different discounts for the Costco program. Stevens Creek was the most expensive and least friendly dealership I dealt with.

So i have been getting quotes, 40,400 for a loaded is350 which i dont think i can afford, and 33,800 for a 250 with nav, which from what i have been reading on this forum is pretty good. my questions to owners is, i live in a mountainous area I wanted to know how the IS250 would hold up on pretty steep hills and if turning on the AC take out a substantial bite out of the power (as it has in my previous cars - landcruiser, toyota previa, infiniti fx35) thanks.

That was real good information. I bought a GX 470 about 1 1/2 years ago from Kuni and the process was good. Looking at the IS250AWD now and I'm better equiped to negotiate.

I just purchased a IS 250 AWD smoky granite with black interior. MSRP $37619, purchase price of $35119. I'm from the Boston area, but had little to no luck at finding this car, let alone at this price, in the area. I bought the car at a dealership in RI. They were very helpful and got me what I wanted in the end for an agreed upon price. The only issue I had was when I went to go sign the papers and pick the car up, it took almost 5 hours, if not longer. Kind of ridiculous in my opinion. Highly recommended however if you live in the northeast.

Hi. I just got my IS 250 AWD two weeks ago, black on black, nav, lux package, z1 package and all weather mats. All together at 35,800 (Doc. fee was 50 dollars). I bought it from Watertown. I thought you or our members have read the price that I posted previously, I just hope that my information would help others to find better deal for this type of vehicles.

I've come to the conslusion that there's very little consistency from dealer to dealer. My wife and I went shopping for an IS 350 at Lexus of Seattle. Nice-looking dealership. High end. Free biscotti. And coffee. You know the drill. Anyway, from the moment we walked in, the salesman started giving us problems with 1) vague answers to easily answerable questions; 2) lack of knowledge about the cars; and 3) minsinformation about costs and availability. The guy was maddening. Ultimately, since they didn't have the car we wanted on the lot, and the salesman insisted there were no Desert Sage green IS 350s in the entire country, we decided to order one from the factory. The guy wrote down "Order a Desert Sage IS 350," and asked us to sign it and give him $5000 as a deposit. This struck us as a bit too informal a procedure, and we said so. His response was to look hurt and tell us we just have to trust him. We didn't. And we left.

Roll the clock forward about 24 hours, and we're at Lexus of Bellevue. The car that the previous salesman insisted didn't exist in this country was sitting on the lot. The new salesman was 1) completely thorough and forthcoming with information; 2) knowledgeable about the car; and 3) giving us confidence that he was helping us get a great deal. Compared to the previous dealership, this was night and day -- with all due respect to any Cole Porter fans out there. The Desert Sage IS 350 had absolutely everything on it that we wanted (Lux package, Nav & ML stereo package, and a few other goodies), and we bought it. MSRP was $44,784. We paid $41,191. Yeah, that's a lot of money, but it's about $3,300 less than Edmunds said folks in the Pacific Northwest are paying for the same car.

All in all, we couldn't have been happier with Lexus of Bellevue -- or more frustrated and ticked off with Lexus of Seattle. But all's well that ends well.

Offer $38190 ($1800 off sticker)
Residual 58%
Money Factor 0.0029 (My FICO score is 800 - 850 range)
36 months / 15,000 miles / Zero down
Payment at $685.00 (including sales tax) financing thru Lexus Financial, 1st months payment. This seemed WAY to high for me and what I had calculated.

I would assume that with my high credit rating that I could get a better money factor thru Lexus...around 0.0024 or better. Additionally, thru all these posting I could get them down a little further off the MSRP. Help?! Suggestions?!

Had an offer for IS250 (not the color I wanted) with MSRP 36504 and offer of 32,761 but IS350 offer was just too sweet to pass up (in my color too) :P

for IS250, it was an automatic.

I was quoted 33,291 but they ordered me the wrong color combination and had a smokey granite come in stock instead of the tungsten pearl I wanted so saleperson dropped it another 500, which made it 1000 over invoice (32,791).

Its end of month, I am sure you can get a good deal, but dont know about Manuals, most of the IS's around are automatic.

I was at putnam today, they have more IS350s than IS250s in stock...

Serramonte salespeople are more slimy than normal, but you can force them into a good bargain, specially at end of month. Was able to get them to give me 33,300 for IS250 (MSRP 36504) at end of April but I was put off by their dealing.

Dealers don't trade information on potential clients. I've spoken to half a dozen dealerships and they were quoting me all over the place, some higher than others, etc... if they traded information why would someone offer me a higher price than the previous dealer?

I've been exchanging emails with the Internet guy at Putnam and he just tried to get me to come in when I told him I would wait for prices to come off sticker.

I can't get my local dealer(in NC) to drop more than $1000 off of MSRP for a 06 IS350. And that is for placng an order, since there are almost none in stock. I'd like to get one with LL and VN packages for $40,000, so I am currently about 5% off from the dealer pricing.

What is the outlook for the 2007 model, which is not that far off? When will the lack of supply work it's way out so I can get this car for "only" $2100 over invoice? :confuse:

That's a pretty good deal. Almost 4,500 off MSRP. Is that for a 250 or 350? So this car was sitting on the lot I assume. Did you had to hassle alot over the price to get to that number? Or was it pretty easy? I'm in the market soon for a new car since my lease is up and looking for a good deal on a IS350.

The car WAS not on the lot.. but it was on its way in for delivery..

Though not quite the deal others got, I am pleased with the following: Onyx blue/black AWD, nav, lux, z1. MSRP 39924, my price is 36500. Car is enroute, expected in late June.

First the guy claims they're not packaging the IS250 with the LL package. Then he says only LL package on the IS350 and the IS250 AWD.

Asked him for lease terms, including money factor and residual, for a 2-year lease on an IS250 RWD AT with Premium.

Comes back at me with $3000 drive off and $497 plus tax.

Guess he doesn't really want to deal. :confuse:

MSRP is 33,040 and selling price is 31,995.

This is for a 2-year, 12k/year lease with 66% residual.

Won't say what the money factor is. Anyone know Lexus' money factor?

$3k drive off and $497/mo. before taxes still seems very steep. They must be loading up the MF.

Just purchased IS 250 AWD w/ Navigation/LXRY PKGE w/ MSRP of 40,019. Paid 37,500 for it. Color: Smoky Granite w/ Sterling interior.

First of, I live in NE, so there may be a bit different on the price. I just got a black on black IS 250 AWD w/ nav., lux., preffered package(cargo net, trunk mat...etc.), all weather mats. All for 35,800. Plus I bought the front plastics shield package seperately for 599(front bumper, front side fenders, headlamps, fog lamps, side view mirrors)...I would guess prices on this type of cars are different from region to region. I think what you paid for this vehicle is the average number out of this forum feedbacks...Have fun and enjoy this beautiful thing...

Last night i almost bought a car for only 2000 under dealer invoice on a basice is 250,
Luckily i read the forum and decided to ask around today, well tonight, we went to Redwood city and checked out their stock, Not only did they beat the initial price we were gonna by an is250, 33,900 with Nav/etc, but they also wanted a deal TONIGHT, so we got an IS350 instead, Black on Black leather, sportpkg,ML/Nav system prem audio and Nav package, park assist frnt/bk, Headlamp washers, preferred accessory pkg.,and Rear Lip Spoiler add (395.00)
total of $8800+ in upgrades, MSRP 44,900
dealer invoice $39,500 got for $39,900
Is this a good deal? Hope so, because i put down a bit and also they threw in a lot of freebies.
We drove it tonight and my husband LOVES the speed the 350 puts out!
