Interestingly enough, I called my local county clerk and they said I dont owe any taxes on the lease (or at least they dont collect it)?? Cant be right - never heard of taxes not being collected on a leased vehicle??

Sales tax is most certainly collected in TN, against the monthly payment.

I wonder if the county clerk was thinking about personal property tax. I don't know if that's a thing in TN or not.

Are you paying the fees up front, or adding them to the out the door price?

Using the MSRP and out the door prices given, I get a payment of $793/mo, assuming 7% sales tax.

The county clerk might not collect the sales tax, but the bank certainly remits the sales tax to the state, each month. (after collecting it from you).

I would guess the incentives would be from the dealer's location.
But, with Ford, you never know.

I also have a question about the APR. When calculating my lease payment, do I need to convert that APR into a money factor by dividing it by 2400? If the APR is 0.14% that gives me a money factor of 0.0000583 which doesn't seem right, unless Ford is basically not charging any interest on their leases right now.

Yes.. if using a lease calculator or spreadsheet, you need to convert it.

0.14% APR -- That is pretty close to zero.

0.42% for your region... still, very low
