If you lease another Audi, it's waived.

I'm in Chicago.

Looking at an A3, premium, FWD, 7,500 miles a year for 36 months. They have discounted the price to $30,000 which they say with taxes comes out to $319 a month with $4190.90 total due at signing.

Is this a good deal or is there still room to negotiate?

Chicago has an extra 9.5% tax on the lease payment, in addition to the Illinois state sales tax that is collected upfront.

Maybe, $2000 of incentives on this vehicle. Your deal looks pretty darn good, considering the extra tax for being in Chicago.

Here is deal I am getting after much back and forth, original offer was 42 mnt/10k yr w/ $3k down and $500+ monthly, which was outrageous.

A3 2.0T FWD Stronic - Premium Plus with tech package, mats, first aid, homelink (I really like virtual cockpit, mmi and sound system, why going with A3 vs. A4 premium)

Some of this is reverse math, but I do not think it is far off. I think I need to work down the sales price with some market data. I'd prefer 36 month lease, but this is based on 48 which is long.

No discount from sticker? These are not flying off the lots.

For Audi, we suggest 6% off MSRP, before applying the incentives.

And, we don't recommend any cash out of pocket, beyond just the first payment and any registration costs.

Lots of room to improve on this deal.

36 months is the sweet spot for Audi, but 42 months runs a close second.

Not really. Would be good to know there isn't any junk fees buried in that cash.
