    Can you please let me know your thoughts on the attached? This is negotiated over the phone before going into the dealership. They told me MF of .00096 and residual of 47% on a 36 month 12k per year lease. I'm going to tell them I am not making any cap cost reduction. Last time I leased an A3 my residual was much higher. I'm also planning to negotiate the money factor for a better rate. I think I saw .00056 earlier in this thread. I'm in FL (zip 33331). What about the $699 pre delivery svc fee and the 400 license fee? Thank you!

    Assuming this is FWD, the 36/12 numbers are .00056 and 47%. $1000 marketing allowance.

    Don't negotiate the MF; simply tell them you won't sign a deal where the MF is marked up.

    $699 is pretty typical for Florida - just negotiate a lower selling price to offset it (though, you're getting a massive discount as it is).

    A couple other points:

    1. FL taxes the monthly payment, not the entire selling price; you want the dealer to provide you with the adjusted cap cost for a lease.
    2. Good on ya for skipping the cap reduction - first payment and registration costs only up front, is our suggestion

    I would skip the MD part - they tax the entire selling price for a lease; MI only taxes the monthly payment.

    Other than the drive-off amount being off by about $100 (tax on acquisition fee, maybe?), the calculations are correct.

    I am helping my sister lease an Audi A3 Premium quattro.  What are the mf and rv for 36/12 and 48/12 in MA please?  Also, are there any rebates incentives available?  She always leases Audi’s and has always been snowed so I’m trying to prevent that this time.  Thanks!

    Other way around - negotiate your best price first, then deduct the $3K

    You want 6% off sticker, before incentives.

    The $1000 marketing allowance is a dealer incentive... that won't show up on your paperwork, so incorporate that into your offer. The other two, if eligible, are consumer rebates.

    Chance are, they'll roll everything into any offer they give you. Because, they want to show the lowest price possible. It's up to you to ask them for the breakdown.

    Looking for the RV and MF along with any incentives for an Audi A3 Premium Plus Quattro in Monsoon Gray with Homelink. To be leased in state of Maryland for 42 mos/15k miles per year. Right now, I was given a lease deal of $515/mo with $2500 total down. MSRP is $40,045 with destination charge. Thank you!

    What is the selling price or adjusted CAP cost?
    Maryland taxes the full selling price of a leased vehicle, which makes leasing more expensive.

    The selling price they gave me BEFORE taxes and fees was $35,661. Then you add $2,139.66 in taxes+ $895 acquisition fee, $300 dealer fee and about $300 for title/registration.

    I'm within four or five dollars of that payment.

    It's a reasonable deal for an A3. They don't lease all that well, and Maryland taxes really hurt, not that you can do anything about that.

    Thank you! That's what I've discovered through my research. The sales tax does stink, but there is no personal property tax in MD (at least where I am) so I'm pretty sure it all evens out in the end. The government gets you at some point!
